This is just a reminder that the Befaco workshop previously posted here (and featured on MATRIXSYNTH CLASSIFIEDS) is happening this weekend at Musichackspace in London.

The event is free for people that want to come and just check things out. This is a great opportunity for those new to DIY.

Demo of the OBMx

"A demo song with just the OBMx multi tracked. It is really a great synthesizer, and anyone saying you can't get it to sound good just don't know how to use it.

Just using the knobs is using only half the synth. In the Matrix you really can spice up the sound for extra deep filter sweeps or controlling when different filters should come in.

It has bee accused of sounding digital, and when adding all filters on top of each other you quite can get that digital sound to it. But when only using the 24 dB filter it sounds just as analog as it really is."
