"A cool analog monophonic/polyphonic from Korg. It has 4 VCO's which can be shared in 4-voice Polyphonic mode, or linked in Unison for a versatile monophonic lead. Each VCO has its own level, tune, and waveform type control. Waveforms include triangle, sawtooth, variable pulse wave. It has a great VCF (filter) section as well as 2 envelope generators (one for the oscillators and one for the filter). There are also 2 individual LFO's which can be used to modulate the Pulse Width, envelope and Arpeggiator independently.

A very flexible and fun synth. Other cool tricks up its sleeve include chord memory and an effects mode in which oscillators have a variety of ways to be synced. The built-in arpeggiator and sequencer can run all 4 VCO's at a time or cycle through each voice per note! There's also portamento, CV/Gate, VCF and VCO mod inputs, white noise generator, and the pitch/mod wheels can be assigned to control LFO, pitch or the filter. Its sound quality is nice and very Korg."

Pic of the inside below.

via the seller: "Here is an interesting instrument that I have enjoyed playing over the years. The RMI DK-20. It has an analog/digital hybrid sound. The DK-20 was introduced in the late 70's and took advantage of the most advanced digital technology available at the time. After you select your sound you can control the decay time, the curve, the final release, then you can mix and modify the voice with phasers, filters, and other unique modifiers in the "Timbre" section of the control panel. You can really get some interesting sounds going by mixing and matching the voices with the phasers and the separate outs.

The sounds are very organic and useable. I love the sound of late 70s digital technology, it has a warmth and rawness that I love. I have owned several of these over the years and really enjoy them (that's my near mint RMI DK-20 on matrix synth from back in 2011)

I am pricing this one significantly cheaper than my other one because it is missing the lid and pedal. It uses the same lid as the RMI 368x and they made a million of those so that will not be too hard to replace. The DK-20 is a pretty rare keyboard and I rarely see them for sale so if you have ever wanted one it would probably be worth it to try and source a new lid and pedal."

Moog Taurus 2 Pedals and Analog Synthesizer SN 1681

"The Taurus II - essentially a foot-controlled Moog Rogue was produced from 1981 to 1983. The Taurus II had 18 pedals, modulation and pitch bend wheels, oscillator sync functions and full CV interfacing, but had no footswitch or foot slider control whatsoever and no stock presets, making this instrument much less optimized for live performance use vs. the Taurus I. As a compromise, the control panel on the Taurus II was raised to waist height on a central shaft (mic stand), to facilitate onstage modification of the settings.

Both the Taurus I and II units have a "low note priority" keying circuit. In the event that the player depresses two notes, the instruments will only sound the lowest pitched note, similar to other monophonic synthesizers. The Taurus I oscillators produced only sawtooth waves; the Taurus II oscillators produced sawtooth, square and preconfigured pulse waves."

"The 808 is the king of all drum machines. All of the emulators, samples and new groove boxes coming out are good in their own right, but absolutely nothing is the same as the real thing. There's the 808 and then there's everything else. Quit dreaming and get one! You'll never look back!"
