"I created a template to control the Korg DW-8000 and will share it
below. Feel free to download it but please don't claim it as your own,
I spent a lot of time creating this!

There are two pages worth of data (controlling the DW-8000 via sysex),
the first page deals with the oscillators, VCA, VCF, as well as
changing the patch (the bottom 8 buttons under the sliders). The second
template page deals with the LFO, aftertouch, bend, and delay."

"I originally fell in love with Peter Gabriel's cover of this song. Sunday night, I was putting my son to sleep and listening to For Emma, Forever Ago and was really inspired to do my own version of this song.

I use vocoder to create a vocal line similar to Bon Iver's signature layering. I ran my tempest and my analog 4 through Korg Kaoss Pads to further add to the glitch sound I was going for. I really wanted to break up the patterns in the rhythms as much as possible, while filling in the space with the various synths, guitars, and bass. I hope you enjoy!"
