Excellent technique in a 2 unit 19" rack case with deep blue front panel.

"These are hard to find as they don't make full versions anymore. One of the little feet fell off but everything works great. This is one of the coolest music makers I've ever used. Only selling because I need money. This auction includes what you see in the photos. Everything is in perfect working order. I'm not entirely sure if this is v1 or v2 but I'm guessing that it's v1 since I bought it when it first came out.
A drone is created by slightly de-tuning 2 oscillators. This creates a rhythmic phase canceling effect as the output waves line up and diverge. The density of the drone can be increased by adding more oscillators tuned by harmonic steps above or below the other oscillators.
The Drone Lab is engineered to allow for the creation of dense, pulsing drones. A series of filters and a distortion circuit have been built in to add more depth and variation to the drone.

"Wavetable oscillator with variable interpolation resolution. Two ROMs are onboard, each containing 256 waveforms in 16 banks. Waves may be smoothly morphed or violently jumped in two dimensions. It's up to you. The degree of discontinuity these waveform changes is voltage controllable.
Instead of using the internal Piston for waveform lookup, why not plug in an external oscillator or anything else? You can also use a gate input to instantly toggle between ROM chips.
An optional expansion board provides six more ROM sockets for use with Blacet/Wiard-format waveform data. Use wave256 software to write your own data.

"Using the voltage controlled wave-shaper on the Blacet VCO 2100 to exploit "distortion synthesis."
Though this synthesizer tutorial is illustrated on Blacet modules the concepts apply to many modular synthesizers. Let me know how you apply this on your modular synthesizer.
