"Up for auction is a used Starkey Laboratories Hearing Science Laboratory HSL II Synthesizer. This was originally designed to test hearing capabilities. This unit has been kept indoors in a climate controlled environment, and the inside components show no signs of corrosion. I was able to power the unit on and feed music through it. I do not have the proper equipment nor the knowledge to fully test this unit and say that it is in 100% working condition. The unit has some damage on the wood casing and a small dent in the face plate which I have highlighted in the pictures. The face plate could use a slight cleaning, as I do not know what cleaning product to use on it and do not want to ruin anything. Overall this unit is in good condition for being made in 1978."

"For sale is a Moog Rogue analog synthesizer in mint condition. I bought it from the original owner about 20 years ago. It was unused when I got it and has been in my studio ever since. Hardly used and never out of the house. Included is the power supply.

This is a real synth, serial number written by hand! Great for bass, sync leads or create effects for sampling. Please be aware that this is not a MIDI synth. To control via MIDI you'll need a CV convertor. Also, these synths have lots of pots, sliders and moving parts. Yearly cleaning/maintenance is essential."

"I bought this unit as a standard TB 303 in about 07 or 08 . Ironically I got it cheap from my housemate because he was behind in rent and 5 years later I am selling it for the same reason.
I posted the 303 to Robin Whittle in Melbourne to have it modified and I seem to remember it cost about 1400 aud / 1000 usd.
Robin returned it to me and I have used it ever since, often clocked by an MPC 1000 or a 60 to at times astounding effect.
You can interesting results with this machine by sending notes from your sequencer into the devilfish WHILE you are also running the devilfish sequencer at the same time AND cycling through all your devilfish stored patterns while your midi note information is playing.
The power supply recommended by Robin Whittle is the one used for old Boss guitar pedals. Check his site at Realworld Interfaces ; it is somewhere there. I use batteries to be on the safe side."

"All sliders, knobs & keys are working perfectly without any noise. The only part that isn't working is the DC power input which is why it was de-registered as school equipment around 10 years ago... little did they know it still works via batteries :) I'm sure this is a very easy fix but i didn't want to try anything myself. There are a few school name & register numbers on the top, back and underneath. The batteries have been in there for over a year now and it's still going! The battery casing is also missing, but these can be picked up online."

"Fully serviced and working Rev 3.3 (rev3.2 circuit board but the factory fitted Kenton midi ports makes it a 3.3).
Serviced by Kent Spong (Google SOS Kent Spong) last month. Great condition for it's age and the fact that it's been all round the world with a major 80s band (details to the winning bidder). It's been really well looked after and always (evidently) kept in a flight case when not in use. Flight case no longer for sale with item."

If anyone finds out the band, let us know!
