Synthesizers.com Random Sequencer Patch

"Example of using a Q960 to sequence 12 predetermined pitches in random order, very slowly. Synth is going through a ping-pong delay set to 7 seconds with long delay trails, and a bit of plate reverb. i actually recorded another version that crawls along at about half this speed and i like it much better as a musical piece, but it didn't suit the purpose of this video as well.

Note that i'm only using the first 6 steps of the Q960. That's because i needed the gate outputs to trigger the envelope, and i can only combine 6 of them into a Q961 Interface and control the gate time. But i am using two rows of the Q960, switching between them with a Q128 Switch, and controlling the switch with the sample-and-hold random output; it randomly chooses A or B of the switch, and i can weight it toward A and B by using an offset in a Q125 Signal Processor (A, the middle row of the sequencer has more dissonant notes than B, the bottom row, and i step in to adjust this balance a couple of times). There's also a bum note in there at one point, but i get pretty lucky tuning it back to pitch on-the-fly."

Enrico Cosimi meets Moog System 15

"The Moog Modular Model 15 synthesizer is an ultra-powerful, compact studio synthesizer designed for live performance and portability. It is housed in a rugged tolex-encased cabinet and is an ideal solution for the touring synthesist. The Model 15 design focuses on speed, creativity and simplicity while still providing the enormous sonic depth and dimension found only in a vintage Moog modular synthesizer."

Good deal on this one considering what it is and the condition if accurate. 8 voice polyphonic analogue synth with it's own unique character.

"This unit is in perfect functional and excellent cosmetic condition looking nearly new. Every key, switch, knob, and wheel work, with no defects. There are a few small nicks on the end caps which I tried to capture in the photos, but they are so small as to be barely noticeable.

This keyboard is quite possibly in the best condition you will ever see, here or elsewhere.

If you are a musician, you may be very familiar with this keyboard, but just in case, here are just some of the features:

61 key velocity touch sensitive, 8-voice polyphonic voltage-controlled analog synth. Has 64 editable memory locations for sounds ("patches") in two banks of 32, plus a factory preset bank of another 32 patches. MIDI in, out, and thru. Front panel display is made with blue fluorescent displays, detaining all the voice settings, including oscillators, waveforms, modulation, sync, envelope generators, filters, and frequency. Playing controls include volume, tuning, voice control, pitch bend wheel, modulation wheel, key transpose, and note hold (sustain)."

Siel DK600 Vintage Analog Synthesizer

"This synth is fully functional, and with regard to appearance - I would give it a 9.5 score out of 10.0. The previous owner took exceptional care of this instrument, and the only noticeable wear is a small, round paint chip on the back panel.

The Siel DK-600 was made in Italy in the mid 1980’s. It is a classic and even a “sleeper classic” in my opinion. A google search will turn up all of the details including the detailed description from vintagesynth dot com which states… ”The DK-600 is Siel's unique Italian take on the mid-eighties programmable polysynth with MIDI implementation (badged as the Opera-6 in the UK). Just like the Juno-106 and Poly-61 of the time, the Siel was a 6-voice synthesizer with straight forward programming, simple effects and digitally controlled analog oscillators (DCO's). However, the Siel, having dual oscillators per voice sounds thicker than the Juno or Matrix because it's got 12 oscillators! And because they're DCO's, you know they'll always remain stable and in-tune even though they are analog in nature. The DK600 has many other nice features such as complete MIDI implementation. There are 3 LFO's for extreme modulation. Both the filter and amplifier have standard ADSR envelope sections. And like similar synths, all the sliders and buttons are intuitively placed on the front panel for hands-on real-time programming."
