For a sec, I thought it had two rows of switches!

A fine instrument and Japan's first consumer synthesizer
Quite comprehensive in scope for such a compact unit.
In very nice shape overall, all keys, knobs and switches functioning, and further enhanced by the addition of CV and Gate modification allowing for interfacing with other V/Oct units etc
A few scrapes and missing one tab from the front. the switch itself still functions as normal."

"This video shows how the STS can scrub through a sample by using a granular effect. Setting Length very short and sweeping the Start Position achieves this. The playback time of a sample can be changed without altering the pitch, and depending on CV skew, the file can be played both forward, and back.

Using an LFO into Length CV reduces the buzzing that comes from repeating a short 'grain' (minimum 8ms on the STS)."

Recommend listening with headphones or decent sound system for best sonic experience.
