Published on Nov 9, 2017 NomNomChomsky

"Ambient piece on the 0-coast semi-modular synth with various reverb effects. Just to try out which reverb types I prefer on this synth.

The spring reverb might be my fave :-) Just really suits the sound of the #0-Coast.

Sequenced from the iPad running Fugue Machine iOs app.

CHRIS POTTINGER - STAGNANT SECRETION LP Featuring Buchla

via Tasty Soil

"Tasty Soil Records is proud to present Stagnant Secretion, a new record by Chris Pottinger. Composed at home in Michigan using a Buchla modular synthesizer [200e and home built 100/200 modules], this album contains selected recordings made between 2011 and 2016.

Lonely sounds drift up from beneath the murky fluid. Experience the life cycle of an aquatic creature, stalked by parasites and hungry to feed. Covered in leeches, growing plump from gulping its blood. A quivering fleshy lump, confused and clogged with algae.

Stagnant Secretion is limited to 400 hand numbered copies, presented in a deluxe Stoughton tip-on LP jacket with artwork created by Chris Pottinger. This album also includes an 11x11 insert and MP3 download card.

Available to purchase here"

Published on Nov 9, 2017 NovationTV

"In this performance video –CALC- is using the Novation Circuit Mono Station as the hub for a full performance. The Circuit Mono Station sequences it’s own internal fully analogue sounds and also controls several other devices with both CV and MIDI. Circuit Mono Station is also taking it’s clock directly from an original Roland TR808. This is an example of how the Circuit Mono Station can be integrated into a powerful all hardware set-up."

KORG MAXI-KORG 800DV Analog Synthesizer (1975) Sound Demo

Published on Nov 8, 2017 RetroSound

"(c) 2017 vintage synthesizer demo by RetroSound

The Maxi-Korg 800 DV analog synthesizer from the year 1975 is one of the most fascinating synthesizers. Duophonic with two separate synthesizer sections and different play modes. The legendary Traveler filter with low pass and high pass and the beefy VCOs + Sub Osc sounds very rich and dark.

used by Soft Cell, Vangelis, Kitaro...."

Roland SH 7 & Moog Voyager XL

Published on Nov 9, 2017 Fuzzo Frizzbeebot

"Still getting my head around this Roland beast. Looking to set up a DAW less live run station. The Korg SQ 1 seem's to sequence the Roland in a limited sense, only limited though. It has a 10 volt gate I do believe. I have a Eurorack midi to cv I'm sure it's 5 volt trigger."
