Prophet REV 2 PlugSE™ Editor by SoundTower

Available via SoundTower

"Prophet REV 2 PlugSE™ is an audio plug-in dedicated to your Prophet REV 2 synthesizer.

This proprietary plug-in is installed in your audio software as a Virtual Instrument (VST or AudioUnits) and will control all of the functions found on the Prophet REV 2.

Stunning graphics, intuitive functions and easy to use menus make tweaking the Prophet REV 2 hardware fun and easy.

Its most important ability is to automate every function of the hardware synth for synchronized playback with your session. Adjusting the timing and the values of all automation data allows you to perfect the performance prior to committing the audio to disk or to use the automation during your live performance.

The PlugSE™ works with any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) or audio software (like Cubase, Ableton Live, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer and many others) that supports VST or AudioUnits (AU) plug-ins.

While it doesn’t feature some advanced editing found in the standalone SoundEditor, the PlugSE™ allows you to automate all parameter changes.

Automate the parameters and let your fingers do the playing."

Moog Synthesizer Prodigy Expander Prototype Serial No 001

"This is the prototype of the Moog Prodigy, called the Moog Prodigy Xpander. This is the ONLY one I've ever seen.

This tabletop module was going to compete with the Oberheim SEM, but Moog Music in the late 70's decided to go with the keyboard version of the Prodigy, and many of them are still in service today.
It works perfectly, sounds incredibly fat, and it's oscillator sync sounds so much better than other analog synths.

I was a rep/dealer/consultant in the 70's and 80's to many golden age companies including Moog Music, (Williamvsille, and Buffalo factories,) Polyfusion, Sequential Circuits, Oberheim, Pearce Amps, and was a consultant to Les Paul.

Owning this for synthesists, is analogous to being a guitarist and owning Fender Stratocaster 001.

Most Moog experts weren't aware of this prototype, but being a rep, and living just 10 miles from the Moog factory, gave me an advantage to obtain rare pieces like this. Tony Marchese was the head engineer on this rare piece.

I met Bob Moog at the age of 19 in 1973, and he became my mentor, helping me in those early days to learn all I could about electronic music.
You'll need a MIDI to CV convertor to use this.

Obviously, this is for true Moog fans, and collectors."

JP8 clair obscur

"A JP8 short demo showing Dual Voices in action. The Roland Jupiter 8 was an innovation at its time (1981), allowing a synth to play 2 different sounds in layer or split."

"Beat" with Roland Juno 60, Juno 106, Jupiter 8, and TR-808

"'Beat' with Roland Juno 60, Juno 106, Jupiter 8, and TR-808
In this tune I started with the TR-808 drum pattern first. Then I sequenced up the BASS with the Juno 106 via the MSQ-700. Next, I sequenced up the PLUCK sound with the Juno 60. Finally, I used the Jupiter 8 on patch 12 & 28 for the SOLO and 37 & 37 for the Strings. Thanks for watching. Please share, subscribe, and leave feedback. I love to hear from all of you. Take care, Sam."

Korg Volca cover: Music For A Nurse (Oceansize)

Published on Dec 28, 2017 Marco-Antonio Mejía

"This is a cover of Oceansize's song 'Music For A Nurse'.

The Modstep iPad app sends the MIDI notes of the chords (Volca Keys) and bass line (Volca FM). The melody is played on the Volca Bass.

I use the Belkin headphone splitter to merge the output of the Keys and Bass and send the combined sound to the GFI System Specular Reverb V2.

Other gear:
Arturia Keystep
Retrokits RK-004
Behringer XENYX QX1002USB
Apple iPad (2017 model)
Apple iPhone 7 (video recording)"

c1976 Moog Minimoog Model D SN 8097

"A superb 1976 Minimoog for sale recently serviced and in excellent condition. It features the original oscillator board and sounds wonderful.

It's in excellent condition overall - there's some cracking to the plastic front panel around oscillator 1, but this doesn't cause any issues in use. The owner refinished the case in a classy dark wood stain some years ago - it presents very well.

There are some minor marks/dings to the woodwork and case, see detailed photos for more information (photos to follow). This Mini was serviced by one of our approved techs last year and is playing very well.

Set for UK 240v use, but can be switched back to 120v if required."

Dark one, almost, if not all black.

Roland MRS-2 Promars - Stunning condition, pro-serviced SN 041815

"Stunning near mint Promars for sale serviced and in the original Roland case. This is a superb example of this classic late 70s Roland analogue synth.

In very near mint and exceptionally-clean condition with only very minor marks and signs of use; you'll struggle to find a better example.

Often thought of as simply the monophonic sibling of the Jupiter 4, the Promars in fact features two de-tuneable oscillators for its one voice, making it capable of creating some very interesting noises indeed.

It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required."
