"This is a 4-voice analog synthesizer with 24 built-in programs. It has a powerful sound and has many knobs and levers that allow you to change the quality of the voices as you are playing it.

I had a lot of fun using it in the 1990s, when I played it in an indie rock band for a couple of years. It worked great for reproducing some of the sounds heard in songs by The Who and other 1980s bands. When the sound of the band changed, I put the keyboard in storage, and it has been there ever since. I just took it out this year (2018), and found that all the presets and filters are in good working order, and it still makes that delicious analog sound.

It has not been serviced since I have owned it.

It is in good working condition except for one thing: when the pitch bender is bent up, it lands on a note that is higher than the original note played. However, when the pitch bender is bent back down, it lands on the correct note."

TR-9090 driven by Midibox drum sequncer

Published on Mar 27, 2018 wotatwaat

"TR-9090 driven by a Midibox drum Sequencer that Thorsten from Midibox kindly modified so the firmware supports individual accent for the voices. It is a fantastic sequencer. The Tr-9090 has a few mods, CV control for various parameters. Here the Beatstep is controlling the pitch of the bass drum and occasionally the hi hats. The hi hat eprom has been expanded so you can switch between standard 909, 808, or flanged hats. Noise frequency, Clap reverb amount, tune, filter. Rimshot tune and a few more."

"Here's another demo. This time it's the Korg Poly-800 from the early 80's. I love the sounds in this classic synthesizers. If you add a little reverb and delay it's magical. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe, share, and leave feedback. I'd love to hear your opinions on the Korg Poly-800. Take care and have a wonderful week. Sam."

AJH Sonic XV filter drone (analog Eurorack modular)

Published on Mar 27, 2018 DreamsOfWires

"AJH Synth Sonic XV analogue filter for Eurorack modular. A simple drone using one AJH Transistor Core VCO (triangle out) as sound source, and another to provide audio-rate modulation of the filter cutoff frequency. An additional slow LFO was used to modulate the input waveshaper (a feature that makes this filter particularly unique). The input level, cutoff, and cutoff modulation level are being adjusted manually. A very simple patch, plus a bit of Audio Damage EOS reverb.
The Sonic XV filter is based on that contained in the Musonics Sonic V synthesizer from the early 1970's, which was the predecessor to the Moog Sonic Six.
