"100% ANALOG SOUND
From the oscillators and wave-shapers to the voltage-controlled filters (VCF) and snappy OTA-based voltage-controlled amplifiers (VCA), Parva's signal path is 100% analog. There's no DSP here.

POLYPHONIC & MULTI-TIMBRAL
Eight note polyphonic. Eight voice multi-timbral. Amazingly flexible.

DIGITAL CONTROL
Save and recall patches instantaneously, change parameters via MIDI, and route LFOs and envelopes to more than 40 destinations in the modulation matrix.

USB HOST
Parva is the first analog synthesizer to feature a USB Host port, which allows you to connect any class-compliant USB MIDI keyboard — or other controller — directly, without the need for a computer.

Filter resonance with direct control attenuators for velocity and aftertouch
Two cycling ADSR envelopes with multiple speed range options
Global portamento control
Two LFOs with waveshape selection and dedicated AR envelopes for LFO intensity
Extensive modulation routing, with per-source multiple destination selection
Positive or negative modulation selectable via modulation routing interface

"For Sale is a 208r Rev 1 (essentially the top portion of an easel). It was built by Roman [Filippov of Black Corporation] and functions perfectly. It only includes the module. No boat or power supply. It has been fully tested. Everything on it works. Spring Reverb tank sounds nice and dark. Will include 5 shortening bars. It is listed as 'very good' because of the screw rack rash. There are no other scratches. Has been kept covered in a case."

Rests in pitch sequences

"Here, we’re using Bin Seq to create a trigger sequence, and running both our voice module, Cursus Iteritas Percido, and Vox Digitalis off of the triggers it creates. We’re also resetting both BS and VD with the same trigger to keep them both in sync when we change up the trigger patterns.

Boredbrains In Studio: At the Byrd Theatre with Little Black Rain Clouds

Published on Aug 20, 2019 Boredbrain Music

"Our friend and projectionist, Damion Champe, invited us down to Richmond's historic Byrd Theatre to record some improvisations using our INTRFX and Transmutron devices alongside his modular and vintage Korg Delta. The stage was set for a really cool experimental musical experience!

Happy Nerding 2xSAM as Send - Return

Published on Aug 20, 2019 Happy Nerding

"Section 1 works as a stereo attenuator and adjusts the send level for the BigSky.
Section 2 works as a stereo return level control and is set for 5x times amplification to bring BigSky’s line levels back to the modular amplitude.
The mix is recorded from section 2 outputs. Total mix outputs (1+2) are not used."

"2xSAM is 4 HP Dual Stereo Attenuator-Mixer

– Separate stereo outputs for attenuator duties

– Stereo mixer output

– Optional 5x gain for each input to raise line levels to modular amplitude (jumpers on the backside)

– Clean (low noise and distortion) performance

– Right inputs are normalled to Left inputs for easy mono operation

– AC coupled inputs

– Several 2xSAMs can be chained together or with other HN stereo modules via sockets on the back side.

2xSAM’s total mix stereo output can be internally sent to the Isolator, PanMix Jr, 3xStereo Mixer, or can be received from OUT, PanMix, PanMix Jr, 3xStereo Mixer, or another 2xSAM.

Update via @vermonagear: "Indeed, this is not a predecessor of the DRM1, so it’s not the MKI. Its name is DRM which stands for Digital Rhythm Machine. BTW: It was the first GDR-device with MIDI."
