"Drummer From Another Mother (DFAM) is a highly-interactive, Semi-Modular Analog PercussionSynthesizer and a vibrant deviation from the traditional drum machine. As the newest addition to theMother-32 family, DFAM presents a uniquely expressive hands-on approach to percussive patterncreation, inviting a deeply personal bond with each human being it encounters.

Emphasizing tactile exploration and experimentation, DFAM inspires completely new and uniquemanners with which visceral rhythms can be synthesized, expressed, and experienced. DFAMeffortlessly moves from gently evolving undulations and cyclical breathing patterns to hammering bassand clangorous cacophony, but the true beauty of this unique instrument lies in its ability tocontinuously spark inspiration through the repeated discovery of new and dynamic perspectives inpercussive synthesis."

Start playing immediately with “no patching required” then explore an infinite sonic playground with Grandmother’s endlessly reconfigurable front panel. Grandmother’s circuits, spring reverb, and spirit are inspired by the classic Moog Modular Synthesizers, making this instrument a powerful addition to a Mother-32, DFAM or Eurorack modular system."

"For your consideration is the closest you'll find to a new-old-stock Sequential Circuits Prophet 600. As you can see from the pics, the synth looks as if it was never used, and according to the original owner, it pretty much hasn't. Also included is the original box and packing foam, the original preset-cassette, and the original manual. The original receipt of purchase is inside the manual, dating to 5/25/1985.
The synth was recently serviced by Analog Synth Service in Oakland, the top Sequential tech.
It is worth noting that there are small pockets of air under the touchpad, which can be felt and/or heard, but in no way affect the functionality of the touch pad. All buttons work properly.

About the P600:
Released in 1982, the Prophet 600 is the brother of the legendary Prophet 5 synthesizer, but has its own distinct character and sound. The Prophet 600 was also the first commercial synthesizer to implement MIDI and can store up to 100 patches in memory. The Prophet 600 features 6 voices of polyphony and has 2 oscillators per voice (VCOs - saw, triangle and pulse), oscillator sync, a low pass filter, 2 envelopes for VCF and VCA, arpeggiator, sequencer, glide and poly mod functions (to create FM timbres). The Prophet 600 is a versatile and capable analog synth and it excels at drones, pads, brassy sounds and cutting leads. The Prophet 600 "Gligli" upgrade also enhances it further with snappier envelopes, more LFO waveshapes, new arpeggiator functions, unison detune and more."

Published on Oct 30, 2019 Dziam Bass

"Hello Guys!!!

Today I have small movie with Polyend Preset from Polyend in sequencer mode .

Simply patch ,polyend triggers drums like Kick from Pico Noise from Erica Synths snare from Kickall from Befaco with noise from Mod tools from Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers granular sound from Load Runner from Pulse Synthesizers. Preset also control pitch Synth voice from Noisy Oscillaror from Modor Music Euro DDL from Eventide use in reverse mode on snare and LFO from nakedboards triggers Load runner-granular synthesizer .
Main Clock-Clock O'Pawn from Shakmat modular.

I also made 4 presets with a small arrangement and in a set of settings changing to a higher pitch in Load Runner.

All in my new RackBrute 6U from Arturia.

The preset is great for setting all your changes in the next preset, you can change every setting and it will save it. The preset is ideal for use for live performances besides that proven by itself."

Volca Drum: what's pitch quantization?

Published on Oct 30, 2019 Hyperobjeckt Synths

"Today I want to talk about a feature added to the Volca Drum after launch that I think is a big deal. The feature is pitch quantization, which allows you to set pitch by note. I'll show you how to install this feature, how to access it in the part parameters menu, and how to program a simple melodic pattern.

0:45 how to install the update
1:50 accessing pitch quantization
3:00 programming a pattern

To check the firmware version on your Volca Drum, hold down the play button and turn it on. The display will show you two numbers: "MAI" is your main system version, and "PNL" is your panel version. If your main system version is older than 1.14, you're gonna need to update."

KILL SOME TIME // COSMIC COUNTRY JAM: Roland VT-4, Jupiter-80, JX-8P, TR-808, Squarp Pyramid

Published on Oct 30, 2019 MR TUNA Music

I was driving down an old dirt road
at the end of the night
Singing your name to the stars
and the pale moon light
Saw you with a friend of mine at the rodeo
You were dancing to our song
And I wish I never let go
If you take me back
I would treat you right
Buy a little old house on the county line
Baby we could kill some time
