"Find Your Sound - Journeys are a series of short films documenting the process of creating original music using sounds we have found across the world with Launchpad.

For our second journey we headed out to explore the industrial soundscapes between Rotterdam and Berlin, the spiritual homes of techno and hard electronica styles. We wanted to create an authentic dark techno track, and the diverse concrete and metal environments of the two cities felt like ideal spaces to capture the sounds we needed to make our vision a reality. For this journey, we used Launchpad X.

"Spent two nights on this borrowed Blipblox, tried to make something out of it. Also first play with the brand new Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3, had some great fun with the upgraded arpeggiator!!

Whole track except drums, were sounds from Blipblox. Performed on Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3 and edited with Ableton Live."

Today a first patch soundscape/sequence on my new muse,
the Behringer Neutron. Listen that on headphones. No, really.

I haven't come across any compelling demos on the Neutron.
It has great specs, but not much attention was given.
Until I had a chance to play one last weekend at the Dallas
Synth Meet.
HOLY SHNITZEL. This thing blew me away.
The analog BBD delay section is one of the nicest.
So responsive, expressive,
...and lovely thick feedback harmonics.
You can ride the feedback right up to pure chaos, then
back away. It will abide your every move.
And every time I tweaked something it got better and better.
I am really looking forward to getting more cutting edge
sound design with this one!
