Flame Mäander - Old Axolotl Dreams // Sunset Synth Jam #TTNM

Published on Jun 1, 2020 THE TUESDAY NIGHT MACHINES

"Two Flame Mäander synth recordings in an auditory twirl between dreams and reality. MORE INFO BELOW :)

♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support

I’ve been reading “The old Axolotl” recently, which is quite different than the Netflix series “Into the Night”, but still a very cool experience for a moderate sci-fi nerd like me.

The description of the robots‘ dream plugin inspired me to create this jam session. The two Mäander recordings create harmony and dissonance and one is never quite at ease nor fully engulfed in darkness. The stuttering sunset through the net structure is a nod towards the robots’ once-human souls, which are trapped behind digital sensor interfaces insufficient to accurately represent the reality they knew.

Anyway, enjoy this weird music videos ;-)"

DX5 Playing a-ha "Take on Me"

Published on Jun 1, 2020 DX5

"Covering one of the greatest synthpop songs ever. It is said the main lead was made with a Yamaha DX synth layered with some other. I realized that the DX7 IIFD only does the job.

Gear used:
Yamaha DX7 IIFD
Roland JX-8P
Roland JP-8000

Backtrack recorded on Pro Tools, using Yamaha DX7 /DX7 IIFD massively (Bass 1 preset across the song).

Composed by Magne Furuholmen / Morten Harket / Paul Waaktaar-Savoy.

Performed here by DX5 Jose María Bará."

"Nice original Korg catalogue covering their entire product range at a particular point in time (I'm guessing 1984/1985), so full of synths, drum machines, pedals, accessories etc.
In good vintage condition with minor storage wear, around 24 pages long.
Synths featured include the DW6000, Polysix, MS20 and MonoPoly."

"Up for sale is very hard to find rare Seiko DS-101 in very nice excellent condition! Fully Working and Ready to Play.

This one was in very good working shape. Its in very good condition for its age, all keys, sliders, buttons, pitch knob work fine and speakers are still super loud on this unit. Has few minor scratches and lines and small smudge on some keys not visible, everything works and feels smooth.

Check the demo video of unit working."

Logan/Hohner String Melody mkI 1974 - Analogue Synth

Published on Jan 30, 2020 Enzo Boldrini

"The Logan String Melody was a portable keyboard produced in two versions from 1973 to 1982. Manufactured in Italy, it was sold under both the Logan brand name and re-badged as both a and product. The Vox version was called The String Thing but still featured the Logan brand name on the back of the case.

The keyboard consists of four octaves split into two nearly equal sized ranges. In each of these ranges a combination of three string sounds can be mixed using faders labelled Cello, Viola and Violin. Each string sound is pitched one octave apart. In addition to the separate sets of faders for the string sounds, each range has a sustain and release fader. The lower range also features a simple synthesiser that is controlled from using faders labelled Bass and Perc."

"KB in excellent condition. Fully functional with a premium dust cover from Custom in Bulgaria. The keybed is absolutely amazing with no issues. There's a tiny dent in the upper right hand corner that's pictured, however it's only noticeable under a bright lamp as shown. This beautiful synth has been well taken care of and needs a good home where it will continue to emit some of the best sounding digital mayhem and splendor for years to come. Feel free to ask questions. Free shipping to the lower 48 only."
