"This a Rare Analog Drum Synthesizer with the following description:

There are several notable new features on the XBASE 888:

The kick drum and the tom toms now each have an adjustable pitch envelope and sound even phatter than before! The analog noise parameter of the snare and hi hat can be “metal-ized” to create sounds extremely similar to vintage drum machines and is fully adjustable!

And, because it has no X-Filter, the XBASE 888 is more affordable than the 999. But it still has an unbeatable sound, this little beauty!

· 9 Instruments

Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Lo Tom, Hi Tom, Hi Hat, Clap, Rim, Crash and Ride. All instruments are polyphonically playable and have individual outs. The bass drum, snare drum, lo tom and high tom are true analog circuits, and for the remainder of the sounds, the XBASE 888 uses short 8-bit samples, each routed through an analog envelope. The sample flash ROM contains 31 samples per instrument, so there's a total of 186 samples (The Hi Hat section contains 2 separate samples for Closed and Open HH).

· Real analog sound production

The BD, SD, LT and HT use true analog circuits with full digital control, which allows the storage of presets and full midi control of all parameters. To keep the analog circuitry as pristine as possible, all D/A converters are specially designed for and integrated into the circuits with proven XBASE/AirBase technology.

Final Fantasy VI - Terra's Theme (Synth Cover)

Hello! This is my synth cover of Final Fantasy 6 - Terra's Theme. I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and I really love the music. If you played FF6 then I hope this brings back some memories. All of the sounds were made entirely on the Korg Minilogue analog synthesizer. Once again this little synth surprises me how versatile it can be!

Do you own a Korg Minilogue? You can download all of the synth patches I used to create this song on my Patreon page here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/51950493"

FREE SYNTH: PG-8X Plugin - No Talking Demo

video by Andrea Di Lorenzo - Music Lab

"The PG-8X is a great FREE plugin by Martin Lüders (ML-VST) and it is a faithful emulation of the amazing Roland JX-8P synth.

It can also load in the original JX-8P patches in sysex format.

In this demo I just mess around with some retro/synthwave/80's/ambient sounds. Hope you like it!

Qu-Bit Nebulae V2 | First Patch

video by Cinematic Laboratory

"NOTE: This is a first patch video and there's a lot to figure out by trial on error because the manual doesn't provide a typical workflow for certain scenarios. So I will definitely revisit this module and try to help you understand it.

There are many granular solutions for Eurorack, where Arbhar, Clouds, Beads and Morphagene are probably the most used. Qu-Bit also provides the Nebulae V2 granular looper which is often overlooked as a contender.

Arbhar, Clouds and Beads have true polyphonic grain generation which allows you to create huge textures with randomly picked sound fragments from a buffer. They work similarily, but provide tons of different features. I'd say Arbhar is the most powerful of the three. Then there's the granular looper/microsound camp, where you can find Morphagene and the Nebulae. Again, both share a lot of similar features. Morphagene has an alien interface and sounds a bit raw where Nebulae sounds smooth because of its elastic audio engine - which I think is totally amazing for continuous tones. Finally, Nebulae is the only module that supports different firmwares as a DSP platform."
