MiniFreak and Synthi AKS - Which is the Freakiest? A Comparison of Two Fantastic Synthesizers

video upload by LeSynth

"My Arturia MiniFreak and EMS' 1973 Synthi AKS are synths that can sound really freaky, but which has the most freak? This video might leave you thinking that both can lay down some pretty wild sounds! Everything you hear, save the drums, comes from the MiniFreak and the Synthi.

"A rare opportunity to acquire one of the last available Two Voice Pros in the Black Beauty edition.

Never used, item was purchased for a project that never materialised
Has been opened to update to latest firmware version (2.4 KB, 3.0 SEQ)
15 mins of use to do the above, hence marked as "Mint", rather than "New"
Original packaging intact
Been sitting in its box in my dust/pet free studio
Keybed is like new - I don't play the piano so all my instruments are only triggered via Midi
These have been discontinued for some time now and are getting increasingly more difficult to source.

Wood panels have some minor imperfections - the unit arrived like this from new, see close up pics."

Welcome to Bad Gear, the show about the world's most hated audio tools. Today we are going to talk about Moog Little Phatty. Did this modern take on the classic Moog formula and one of the last instruments Robert Arthur Moog worked on age well? Can the analog synth engine be tamed with the UI of a MicroKorg? Does it live up to the legacy of masterpieces like the Minimoog Model D or other synthesizers created by the legendary Bob Moog?
