You might have seen a few videos cropping up with a "one module only battle" theme. It turns out the challenge was hosted by Knoobz.com. The following were the rules and the submissions. Note there is a second battle just starting, this time allowing the use of two modules. This is open to everyone.
"The first modular battle took place this past weeked and we are happy to present some really nice & crazy tracks.
The rules:
one module only
no external CV, click or audio
track must be no longer than 2 mins
track as video or audio
no additional edits or effects

"Ok, theres nothing vaguely musical going on here - it's just a bunch of noise. Some of us like this sort of thing. Anyway, a challenge was posted to create some sort of sonic event that just used one module, and perhaps document it with a video. This is that. No other musical devices were used besides the one module you see in the video."
