A revision of the transistor ladder filter of Bob.

GG is a 4 pole diode ladder filter which gives the response of a 3 pole filter. Wiring up transistors to act like diodes makes this filter be the perfect sound bug chaser as matched transistors are more versatile than diodes.

This filter has the property that when resonance is increased, the peak stays at the same volume and the Pass Band is reduced in volume. This is contrasted with the state variable filter where the Pass Band retains its volume, and the peak gets louder.

Our first produced distortion effect and overdrive for bass sounds adds upper octaves and harmonic content to the incoming signals, the texture control changes the type of harmonic distortion. A liquid scat sound is produced when this control is in its extreme counter-clockwise position and on it´s clockwise rotation results in an hard upper harmonic being added.
The blend controls the addition of unmodified sound, on it´s counter clockwise rotation results in straight input signal clockwise rotation gives 100% modified output.
The post tone control based on a tilde circuit, centered at 900 Hz, allows the out-coming signal to be adapted to the desired scat sound.

With this effect you can get sounds ranging from thick fuzz, bass fuzz, octave boost, octave swell.
