Quick note: The 5U he's referring to is the MOTM format. 5U is also commonly used to refer to the MU/synthesizers.com/dotcom format. 5U refers to the height. MOTM has different horizontal spacing when it comes to the mounting screw holes and it uses it's own power connects. It's similar to eurorack and 3U referring to both the Doepfer and Analogue Systems formats.
