#Jamuary2020 // Ambient - Peak, Digitone, Particle v2, RV-500

Published on Jan 10, 2020 Soular Order

"Second track for #Jamuary2020. This time all ambient.
The Novation Peak is used to create the live chords/drone (triggered by an Arturia Keystep). The Elektron Digitone is sequencing the pinging lead sound which is run through the Red Panda Particle v2 and then into the Boss RV-500.
Audio recorded from an old Mackie ProFX12 mixer onto a Zoom H4N. Video recorded on an iPhone 11 Pro."

Volca Modular PO-12 Gen-X1 - Back In The Saddle - Jamuary2020 Jan11

Published on Jan 11, 2020 ChrisLody

"So, bit late on Jamuary this year to say the least. Life has been a bit busy recently and will most likely stay that way for a while so expect this years Jamuary jams to be less frequent than last year. Still, first proper jam in my new studio at my new house so go me :D

So this jam uses my newly acquired Korg Volca Modular using the root function to alter the pattern in realtime, a Pocket Operator Rhythm PO-12 and a Stylophone Gen-X1 as a send effect delay. Kind of techno meets chip tune or something, idk.

Btw the sound on the Modular is a PWM sound which is not an obvious way to patch the Volca Modular so a tutorial on that coming soon"

iRig Keys I/O, Syntronik Jam - #Jamuary2020 - 11th January 2020

Published on Jan 11, 2020 Matt Keil

See the Synthuary label for more. Synthuary because these are the Jamuary synth videos. More below.

"Jam number 11 for #Jamuary2020 was made using Syntronik, played using the iRig Keys from IK Multimedia. With only 25 keys, the octave up/down buttons were used a lot in this one! I mapped out different sounds across the keyboard so I could have an arpeggiated bass line and a melody."

Neon Egg Planetarium Exploration // #JAMUARY2020 DAY 11

Published on Jan 11, 2020 DivKidVideo

"Here's the very lovely reverb, chorus, delay (reel to reel or cassette like modulation!) and compressor unit called 'Planetarium' from Neon Egg. It's been a lovely device that's been fun to explore as a guitar pedal or with other hardware and modular. Here it is processing a simple Eurorack modular patch."

#Jamuary2020 05, Korg Volca FM, Zoom MS-70CDR, EHX 720, Lost in delays

Published on Jan 11, 2020 Waveformer

"Searching for sweet spots in a sea of delays, with Korg Volca FM as the only synth, supported by three Zoom MS-70CDRs and a EHX720 looper.

The audio output from the Volca FM is split in three by the SplitMix. Each of the three pedals is connected in parallel to three separate outputs on the SplitMix, and by changing the output levels on the SplitMix, I can send the output from the Volca to any of the three effect pedals.

Pedal 1 contains three delay effects in series, and a pretty clean sound. Pedal 2 contains distorted delays. And pedal 3 converts the input into noise for some non-pitched rythms.

The audio is recorded on a Korg KP2S and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on iPhoneX. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 15."
