I wish people would get it through their heads that using or not using software to make music is neither a blessing nor a curse. The Elektron and Novation instruments' internal functioning is half software; they are just as much computer as they are musical instrument. The only sin is to make boring music. The only blessing is the freedom to make music at all.
ReplyDeleteI might add, what is an analog synthesizer but an analog computer the output of which is sound.
