inMusic's NAMM 2027 experience invites creators, developers and music makers to explore fully operational products, experience live performances, and discover new possibilities for hardware customization
ANAHEIM, Calif. - November 5, 2026 - Today, inMusic Brands has announced it will bring one of its most ambitious showcases yet to the 2027 NAMM Show, presenting 22 new, fully operational and feature-complete products alongside performances, artist appearances, panels and a new hands-on experience: The inMusic Creator Lab.
THE INMUSIC CREATOR LAB
Located in Room 204 at the Anaheim Convention Center, the Creator Lab introduces another dimension to inMusic's NAMM presence. Visiting creators and developers will have the opportunity to engage directly with new products and explore what can happen when finished instruments are opened to further creativity.
"These products don't need to be modified. They're complete instruments designed to stand on their own. But for creators who want to take them somewhere new, we want to make that possible. Openness doesn't require incompleteness," said Jack O'Donnell, CEO of inMusic Brands.
BUILT FOR A NEW GENERATION OF CREATORS
A new generation of musicians is becoming increasingly comfortable modifying the technology they use, while AI-assisted coding is making software development accessible to more creators. The Creator Lab is inMusic's response to that shift: an invitation for technically curious musicians and developers to explore what finished musical instruments can become when their own ideas enter the equation.
Many of the 22 products being demonstrated are designed to support further enhancement by programmers, product modders and the growing community of creators using traditional and AI-assisted coding methods. Working alongside inMusic's brightest developers, this experience is expected to prove how far these feature-rich products can go when imagination is the only limit.
inMusic invites programmers and technically curious music makers to explore those possibilities and bring their own tastes, workflows and ideas to compatible inMusic devices. The Creator Lab becomes a physical expression of inMusic Forward, inMusic's initiative focused on the intersection of people, ideas and technology and their role in creating a more creative future.
BEYOND THE LAB
The Creator Lab complements inMusic's established NAMM program of live performances, demonstrations and panels featuring professional musicians, producers and other recognized members of the music-making community.
For NAMM 2027, inMusic will once again present programming from Akai Professional®, Moog Music®, Denon DJ®, Native Instruments®, and other inMusic brands, bringing artists, instruments and new technology together in one destination.
The result is designed to give visitors two complementary ways to experience what's next:
First, see what great musicians can do with these instruments. Then step into The Creator Lab and explore what you might do with them.
