360 Systems Slavedriver Guitar Synthesizer Interface CV/Gate Converter

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction

"During their short lifespan, 360 Systems designed and produced an interesting set of effects, guitar synths (a repackaging of the Oberheim SEM), and synth-specific utility items such as the Slavedriver.
The Slavedriver uses a hex pickup (installed on your favorite guitar) to channel guitar notes to the main unit which converts your playing into range of control voltages to interface with your favorite monosynth.

The Slavedriver features 1/4in CV/Gate outputs for: guitar, pitch, loudness, trigger. There are controls for octave range: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32; and footswitch interval. There are also 1/4in inputs to connect footswitches (not included) to control sustain and transpose hands-free.

Internal dials allow the user to adjust each string’s sensitivity. Once you get pickup situated on your guitar, and patch the Slavedriver into the cv and gate jacks on your synth, you can have hours of synth guitar fun.

This particular unit is good shape, and works well. The pickup as been hard-wired to the cable and unit (it came to me this way), but could easily be modified to incorporate a jack for added convenience..."

360 SYSTEMS SPECTRE

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"For your consideration is this vintage 1979 360 Systems Spectre guitar synthesizer. This particular example is in very excellent original condition and was recently serviced to be completely studio ready. The Spectre guitar synth features the Oberheim 1180 "A" board which is the same board found in Oberheim's SEM synth module. This synth also features two analog oscillators, a single ADR filter, and an LFO. Producing incredibly rich fuzz, string sounds, octaves, envelope filtering, polyphony, phaser/flanger effects, etc., this unit makes the magic of Oberheim's SEM, also found within the TVS-1 2-voice, accessible to guitarists, other electrified stringed instruments, or even addition synths. A must have for the analog synth collector, inventive guitar players, and studios with an emphasis on vintage analog equipment, this is a really incredible piece."

Vintage 360 Systems Keyboard Mellotron Chamberlin

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

See the seller's other items for more.

"This is a rare one: a 360 SYSTEMS Keyboard. It was the first manufactured Rompler - a ROM-based memory that stored samples, just like a Mellotron or Chamberlin but without the tapes. It's very similar in sound, however, I know as I own both Mellotrons and Chamberlins. Each sound starts and stops immediately like those tape instruments and has about 8 seconds of length; they were definitely using the new technology of the era to try to replace the Mellotron! This does have some extra features though, like transpose, a Mod wheel to add Vibrato, you can stack 2 sounds on top of each other, or split the keyboard. It's sexy looking and perfect on top of a 400 Mellotron, with an old Minimoog on top, as it has a flat top for stacking keyboards!

SOUNDS: Each sound was a set of chips you bought from the company, no stock sets. Some of them were VERY expensive and some were less so. Strings were the most expensive and desirable, which are included here. This keyboard has the following sounds installed (quite a good, useable set, more than typical on these).
FLUTE
NYLON GUITAR
ELECTRIC BASS
CLARINET
OBOE
LOW STRINGS
FRENCH HORN
BRASS
SAX1
SAX2
BACH TRUMPET
STRING SECTION

All these sounds are demonstrated on a clip I just recorded today - you can hear them- I tired to link here to SoundCloud but ebay will not let me. Look for a link there maybe, or send me a message; I'll send you the audio link.

The last sets you hear there (after the strings) are stacks - two sounds layered together. These really have a great sound, I've used it on tons of records, especially the French Horn sound, which is amazing."

"Here we have a gutted Spectre Guitar Synth. The Oberheim SEM boards have been removed, just leaving the Power supply and the guitar converter board. This board is basically a pitch (guitar strings) to CV converter if you can get it working. Includes only what you see here and sold strictly as-is for parts or repair project. Thanks!"

The GREATEST Custom Studio Keyboard Stand!

via this auction

Some great synth spotting below as well. Note the Con Brio, Conn Electric, 360 Systems, and OB-Mx amongst others..

"Perfect for someone with a large keyboard/synth collection and want to keep it close without a lotta space. It is a 6 tier keyboard stand for wall mounting. It's VERY strong, and mounts to the wall (please find studs to screw into!) securely with long screws/bolts. It's welded iron, with some foam pads added to each tier. Over the years, I've had many people approach me about making another, but I never did. It will be a bear to ship, but it's possible. I'll leave it at "local pickup" for the auction, and IF you want to ship it, we'll deal with the cost them."
