video upload by cra.:zik
You might remember Aaron Anderson's Wave Terrain Synthesizer from this previous post back in 2017.
"This is not a full demo (no presets browser actually) but a quick and first exploration where I'm trying to create a cool sound. Available on Windows, Mac (and Linux via github). Melodies by Crazik and copyrighted.

"Wave Terrain Synthesizer built using openFrameworks and ofxATK.
This is controlled via MIDI. MIDI input is selected at the bottom right. All sliders are controllable via MIDI, with the addition of the pitch wheel and pedal. I will provide Documentation asap.

"My first presentable version of a wave terrain synthesizer. The concept of a wave table is extended to another dimension. The table is read at position XY, returning the depth of the terrain.
In this version, the table is read with various lissajous figures (and with two-dimensional perlin noise near the end). The terrains are generated with various equations including chebyshev polynomials. Terrain A can be interpolated with terrain B.
The terrain readers are in harmonic series. Further development will include more interesting approaches for the behavior of terrain reading. Dynamic terrain modulation will also be explored.
