Christian Günther presents his products @SUPERBOOTH18 - CG Products

Christian Günther presents his products @SUPERBOOTH18 - CG Products from HerrSchneider on Vimeo.

This is a great performance. Don't miss it. Note the record player has controls for looping similar to tape. Cool trumpet playing with reverb.

"CG Products is fine small company from Berlin developing analog circuits for eurorack and stand-alone musical instruments. Here you can hear some of Christian Günthers unique designs in his Gesprächskonzert at SUPERBOOTH18."

See the Christian Günther & CG Products labels below for more.

Guenther - Toddler Synth

Published on Jul 24, 2017 GumpherDM3

"Here is a video of my first analog electronics project build as a gift for my kids a few years back. It's a very basic semi-modular analog synthesizer. It operates as a noise box and is a fun introduction to very basic sound synthesis. It contains one Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), two Low Frequency Oscillators (LFO), and a Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA). All modules are linear.

The build was put together using various schematics around the Internet. I do not know the original source for the VCO/LFO schematics, but the VCA was based on the LM13700 datasheet schematic. Enjoy!"

Christian Guenther's XR-1

I spotted this one on StromKult. It is currently sold out, but Christian is working on a new model. I couldn't find any additional info, so I contacted Andreas Schneider of StromKult and Schneiders Beuro via @SchneidersBeuro. I asked him if there was a website with more info. Currently there is not, but his work is out there and has been featured at the Musikmesse Superbooth. You can see an article featuring his work with Moritz Wolpert here in German (Googlish here). You might recognize the "steampunk" modular in the image from this previous post.

You can find some nice higher res pics of the XR-1 that just went up today on Aliens-Project here.

"[Moritz Wolpert] built this gem of Victorian hardware by hand. It is a sequencer and features beautiful detail work as shown in its MySpace gallery."
