"Up for sale is an (1) ultra rare LFT H481 tone generator with serial number 001. A true piece of history. This generators were installed in the famous EMI Redd 17 / 37 studio desks on Abbey Road where the Beatles recorded their albums. We sell it as-is, for spares or parts only. We didn't test the item. Optical it's in nice condition for its age, but there are some minor scratches and wear and tear on it (see photo's)."

"EMI Powerhouse Rythm unit from "The Pando Collection""

via this auction via Fernando in the comments of this post.

"For one week only, from "The Pando Collection of Keyboards and Antiques" comes out this Emi Powerhouse Bandmaster Rhythm Unit. One of the most enigmatic electro-mechanic instruments built on the pre-digital era. This one of a kind instrument is one of the few in working condition in the world and is complete with a collection of eight magazines.

From the family of Mellotron instruments, the Powerhouse is loved by producers in search on that 70's analog sound. The Powerhouse is a must have not just for collectors, but also for producers and studios in search of original loops.

The Powerhouse magazines feature adjustable loops of excellent quality. And this unit comes with 8.

Tape 1 is Quickstep, Shuffle, Twist and funky beat.
Tape 2 includes Old Time Jazz, Jazz waltz 12/8 rhythm and Nodern Waltz.
Tape 3 includes: Slow foxtrot, tango, pasodoble y bolero.
Tape 4: includes: Samba, mambo, Merengue y Calypso.
Tape 5: Rumba, Cha-cha-cha, Bossa nova and Beguine,
Tape 6: March, Polka, Rhythm and Jig.
Tape 7 includes two versions of Motown slowbeat and two versions of Latin slowbeat.
Tape 8: includes Latin Rock, Rock n' Rhythm, Cuban rock and Glitter Rock.

The Powerhouse uses adapts the technology that Chamberlain and Bradley used on the Mellotron, improving functionality and reliability by using this high end 8 track magazines.
Location: Miami, Florida."
