"I’m starting to get familiar with the WoFi by Kiviak Instruments and the first thing that really sparked my creativity is the combination of the playback modes with a specific sequencer function called Cue Points mode.
In practice, you can define split points or slices within a recorded sample and trigger those sections directly from the sequencer pads. This gives you up to 16 distinct segments that you can access and play instantly. The result is extremely is a very inspiring workflow."

"Hi! The team from KIVIAK Instruments sent me the WoFi right before the Christmas.
And since then, there hasn't been a day that I haven't played the WoFi!

I’m not mastering it at it’s very best, yet! - but this sampler has a HUGE POTENTIAL!

From the very first day I sampled my voice, my kids' singing, my synths, ambiental noises and anything you can think of!

Diving into the samples with the Waveform Viewer, using the Touch Stripe or the Texturer’s buttons, to create new interesting sounds and modulate them with the LFO, to obtain either an industrial, harsh sounds or a sound with vintage lo-fi vibe.

Here’s a sample from my Sequential PRO 3, using it to create a Berlin School sequence on my own style with a vintage vibe, and playing over it - by using the SOLO function - a plucky/organ lead, both the sequence and the lead using the same sample.

I’m passing through the sampling MACHINES and the Playback Modes and tweaking some functions.

I added some delay and reverb, and during the playing (made in post processing) I’m bypassing them for a raw sound."

"In this session is shown some variations using the PAD's compose mode.
The Nord micro modular is driven by the WoFi, and fed in the input line.
Mixing cue points, note changes, solo notes and sequence leads the Nord UM to its limits, while the WoFis adds grain and controls sequence.

Advanced usage of the sequencer is shown there:
1:11 Tune the pitch of one or several steps

"Wo-Fi as in Lo-Fi - its got WiFi and it's Low Fi ... it's the Wo-Fi from Kiviak Instruments. It's a sampler giving us vintage 80s and 90s tones that sits in the modern studio with CV, MIDI, USB and yes... wifi

With emulations inspired by Akai S950, Emu SP-1200, Casio SK-1 and Yamaha VSS-30 you've got a whole load of vintage vibes at your fingertips.

In this demo I've explored it using drum loops which took me in a completely different direction than most demos I've heard. I thought they'd be an easier way to demonstrate the effect of the different 'machines' on the sound - and they really do sound great. Possibly another direction for future development to investigate expanding."

"What if the the Emulator II and the Casio SK-1 had a child in 2024. The sound and editing capabilities of the EII, with the size and easy access of the SK-1. This is what the WoFi seems to be. To me.

Every single sound in the track "Wait" was sampled into the WoFi and then multi tracked. No MIDI was used. Everything was recorded by hand. Even the drums. It's all coming out of the WoFi.

This cute sampler is a modern take on old keyboards from the 80s, offering a compact form factor with a range of modern features. The *WoFi *is battery-powered, equipped with a microphone for sound sampling, and a speaker for standalone use. However, its extensive connectivity options, including audio input/output, MIDI, CV/Gate, synchronization, and USB, make it a versatile tool for music production.
