Treating the Korg Mono Poly through the Polivoks filter.mp4

YouTube via RothHandle
"Here is a basic recipe for Beer Butt Chicken:
1 12 oz. can beer (half full)
1 whole chicken (small size)
1 cup melted butter
1 T. garlic salt
1 tsp. pepper
Place chicken over half full can of beer. Melt butter with seasonings and brush over outside to chicken. Place upright on grill with indirect heat on a charcoal grill or a gas grill. A barbecue smoker is even easier for this recipe if you have a smoker. Cover and cook 1 ½ to 3 plus hours. Check and add butter as needed during cooking.

Use other seasonings in the can of beer, inside the chicken cavity or mixed with the butter for different taste options. This is a fun recipe to play around with."

Aelita - classic Soviet synth

via this auction

"Aside the Polivoks and Estradin, Aelita belong to the 'great three' of Soviet synths. Boasting 3 oscillators, fat filter, it's also full of unusual features, like unison, absolutely unique on monosynths, that delivers a fat, vicious tone. The look of the instrument is absolutely unusual, too. All in all, it's one of the USSR greatest."

EDS 5 - SOVIET ANALOG DRUM SYNTH

via this auction (samples there while up)
"very interesting handmade drum module that was made for personal use in Soviet Union in 80`s. Device has 5 channels of analog drum synthesis, any channel devide on TONE and NOISE sections and has balance between them. It has 5 Inputs for triggers and 5 line Outputs from channels. You can trigger it from drum pads(trigers) or from any audio output - drum machine, analog out of soundcard etc. All connectors are on standart 1/4 monojacks. It runs from 220-240V, for use it with 110V you will need power adapter from 110V to 220V.

EDS-5 has it`s own original sound, it can produce - fat analog bass drums, varied electro snares, claps, toms, hats, weird analog fx`s etc. that will be great for any freaky sonic experiments!

EDS-5 drum module in good working condition and is fully checked before this auction. Cosmetically it has some marks of time on metal body but overall looks good for such old equipment see actual pictures.

Controls for each channel Drum section: input level, start, stop, glide, tone, decay. Balance Tone/Noise. Noise section: dry(filter), decay. Main volume."

dual lfo take001

YouTube via bluelantern320. bluelantern on Ebay
"This is to show you that the LFO outs are audible. There is a range selection switch: Hyper, normal, slow.
(2) outputs can be morphed with the shape knob. You can make a double saw or trapezoidal shape with those."

dual lfo take002

"This demo shows you the dual lfo being used to control a polivoks filter. The filter is put into self rezonance. The lfo is making it twirp chaotic."

Au Revoir Simone

Anyone ID the little silver keyboard and the drum box? The silver looks a bit like the Soviet Maestro.

Update via Sean in the comments: Here's a really good interview with Au Revoir Simone where they talk about their gear.
