Spotted this one in a comment in this post for a custom Roland JX-8P labeled as an MJX-70. Some good synth spotting in this one. Note the Teisco Synthesizer SX-400, Synthesizer 006, two SX-210's, and two Akai SX-240s.

"A total off the top of my head sound test for the Yamaha CS-80 in the new studio setup. I hear lots of things to fix at the mixer but the CS-80 trucks right along without fail :) Its pretty cool to re-learn the old ways of synths and their logic, programming etc... The sound you hear in this test involves 3 separate LFO's, one programmed for when you hit notes, the 2nd when you use the sustain pedal, and the third based on polyphonic aftertouch.
A truly amazing synth! Still need to learn the best ways and methods to use the pitch bender strip though."

"This fab little synth is pretty rare these days. They were originally manufactured in the early '80s under license from Arp Instruments. I've been using this for the last year and it's a fab little synth. Quite Rolandy in sound and a smooth round sound, rather than some of the other less expensive synths from this period (thinking thinks like the JEN SX1000 which is pretty nasty in comparison)."
"I love my 60f, most owners do. The low end already is great, I though it could be improved though with mod, a sub oscillator.
Here I use a CD4024 IC and a simple circuit. The circuit is available on the net. Google mod for JEN SX1000 and the circuit is the same.
Parts Used: CD4024 IC 14 pin socket FOR 4024 47k resistor 100k resistor 500k lin pot (with switch - or use additional switch)
The 2 resistors shown at the end of the video (5:32) on the sub oscillator board were not actually used. These were from a previous mod, and I just repurposed the board.
The stills at the end (5:41) show signal out from the synth and signal in to the synth

The Teisco 110F is a two oscillator instrument with lovely Low Pass resonant filter that keeps the low end with high resonance, a fixed filter bank and an interesting architecture.

"Here is a rare synthesizer again ! The Teisco SX-240, an 8 voice synthesizer capable of great sounds ! 2 DCOs, VCF and VCA section with 1 envelope for each section. A built in sequencer and some good features like split and dual. This synthesizer sound really great and has been fully serviced. The most common problem is the battery that eventually occurs if the battery is not changed on time. This one has suffered from it this is why the whole board has been taken appart and replaced by our new clone board. This synth is now working great and will never suffer from the battery leak again. The most likely to fail logic chips have been replaced. The synth has been calibrated. The keyboard contacts have been carefully cleaned."

"Great example of this rare and desirable Teisco 110f duophonic analogue synth.
Its in outstanding working condition having been fully tested throughout. All siwtches, pots and knobs function as they should. Pots are crackle free. Keys all contact correctly.
Cosmetically it is very tidy, with hardly a blemish on the front, rear and side panels. Its as clean as it looks in the photographs.
Its a 100v model, so a step down trnasformer may be required depending on your location."

It features one oscillator, but great sound can be achieved by virtue of the extensive modulation possibilities. Filtering, LFO, VCA, and portamento are excellent and provide the necessary ingredients to dialing in wonderful vintage analog synth sounds. Add to these features the 100F’s elegant vintage design, with a wood enclosure, and you have overall a fantastic vintage analog synth.
This synth is in very good condition, with some signs of use and age (please see pictures), including some minor scratches and coloration. The unit has been thoroughly tested by our professional technician and works perfectly."

"Demonstration of Teisco S-100P, a rare monophonic analog preset-synth. It features built-in spring reverb (!), flanger and assignable aftertouch. Some outboard reverb and delay has been added to the video."
"Here we have an excellent condition a 1979 Tesico S-100P Synthesiser, with original cover, music stand, power cable, manual and what I believe is the original audio cable, as it was sitting with the rest of the bundle - all parts in near mint condition!
The aftertouch feature is licensed by ARP, and adds excellent dynamic range to this little analogue beauty.
I got this synth from a church, which had it from new, where it had remained mostly covered since the 1980s. I am the second owner and cosmetically this synthesiser is in great condition for it's age. In terms of functionality, everything including the aftertouch is working, other than the reverb - I can't hear a difference anyway. Other than that the unit is in amazing condition!"

Chorus sound between 06:45 and 08:40 is obtained by muting "fast" LFO with trimpot on PCB. I plan to install switch for this, since that "slow" chorus mode turns out to be extremely useful."

It features one oscillator with 32 sound presets (selectable by switches under the keyboard), with several usable and excellent sounds, in particular the bass, shakuhachi, and four synth tones. The 100P has a few effects included, and tone controls include a pitch-bender slider, a simple filter, portamento/glissando, modulation rate, and more. Two salient features of this synth are the reverb and aftertouch. These two effects really expand the sonic capabilities of this synthesizer. Overall it’s a nice little vintage analog synth."
