"Make your own mini MIDI synth with DSP-G1 Voice Chip analog modeling synthesizer by Jan Ostman at DSP Synthesizers. It's a tiny LPC810 chip programmed to read in MIDI streams and make music!

The chip reads TTL level serial MIDI data and outputs sound through a 44.1KHz Delta-Sigma DAC. The synth is a 15-DCO structured as 5-note paraphonic with a 24db lowpass filter with resonance. It also has: AMP ENV, filter ENV and LFO with sine or sample & hold waveform.

If you want to use it with for example Arduino (as we did in our example photo), it can be connected to the ATmega TX port and controlled through a sketch. More chips makes it multitimbral

15 DCO, 24db DCF, 2 ENV, 1 LFO
5 voice paraphonic voice structure

"Now the SQ-1 is used for sequencing, does it very well :-)
A little bit H9 Reverb was used, nothing else.
The video is in 3 parts, the part 2 and 3 are going a bit more the 'modular way'..."

The Rad-Fi Glitch Delay BLR02

"The Rad-Fi system is here
http://bleeplabs.com/store/the-rad-fi...

The Rad-Fi patchable Synth kit has with two independent Arduino based synthesizers. Each with:
○ Includes all the parts you need in a nice plastic compartment case. Does not include breadboards or power supply.
○ MIDI input for control of pitch, amplitude, and waveshape.
○ Two outputs, one for pulse, one for triangular waves.
○ Analog inputs for pitch, amplitude/fold, and wave shape.
○ Digital inputs to adjust dual voice mode, noise modes, amplitude envelope trigger and more.

A separate analog oscillator and is also included.

Altair Sequencer Project - How I did it - Episode 1

How I did it - Episode 1 from Giorgio Sancristoforo on Vimeo.

"The day has finally come! The first episode is here!

In this video I will demonstrate how to turn the Altair 8800 into a digital sequencer (it could do MIDI out with a few more code inside Max). The Altair communicates with my Mac with a Serial to USB adapter. All the Altair code was written under CP/M 2.2 using Word Master word processor, ASM Assembler and Load program.

The code basically outputs 8 notes and a rhythm pattern. All the notes are in MIDI note number values (see for example line 0113h. The rhythm pattern is a 1byte binary number that works as a gate for the steps of the sequence.

In the next episode I will develop the concept further and get some polyphony.
As soon as the max patch will satisfies me, I will publish here the patch and the code to make music with your Altair, clones and originals.

Any question, comments and critics may be addressed to me by sending a mail (see contacts page on my website) or commenting the vimeo video here:) .
Thanks for watching and see you on the next episode!

MST Noise / Sample & Hold / Track & Hold Eurorack Module Video Demo - Synthrotek

Published on Feb 20, 2015 synthrotek

http://www.synthrotek.com/products/ms...

"The MST Noise/ Sample & Hold / Track & Hold Module supplies you with all the noise and random goodness you need in one small 4HP package. White, pink, and slow-random noise are just a patch away. The white noise is normalled to the signal input or input your signal of choice and break the normalled connection. To activate either the S&H or T&H, just supply the module with your clock source to start generating stepped random control voltages.

Features:

White, Pink & Slow Random Noise Output

S&H sample signal input

S&H clock input

S&H or T&H output

Sample & Hold / Track & Hold select switch

Specifications:

Current draw: TBD

Width: 4HP Depth: 4.8 cm (1.88 in)"
