"At Superbooth 2024, we met up with Sebastien from Arturia unveiled the new flagship polyphonic analog synth, the Polybrute 12*. With 12 voices and a new MPE-capable polyphonic aftertouch keybed designed specifically by *Arturia*, the *Polybrute 12 *is noticably larger than the original, and is a major upgrade offering an enhanced range of sound and modulation possibilities. Sebastian emphasized the expressive nature of the instrument, demonstrating the *Full Touch mode which senses the key travel from the top to the bottom of the keypress. Original *Polybrut*e features like morphing between patches and the Morphe XYZ controller and the lovely wooden ribbon controller are all present and correct. The Arturia-built Keybed must be the standout feature, however, bringing extreme expressivity to your playing.

These meticulously crafted patches cover various styles, from regular bread and butter sounds to more ambient, electronica, industrial and experimental timbres for you to explore and create music with.

The Arturia Polybrute is a powerful and extremely expressive analog synthesizer, and I tried to push it in many different directions when building these patches. In addition to standard sounds (leads, bass, pads etc), I also explored arpeggiators, sequences, soundscapes and texture-based approaches to sound design.

CONTAINS SEPARATE A & B LAYERS + MORPHING!
All patches contain separate A & B layers for full morphing and take full advantage of the Polybrute's various expressive controllers (morphee, ribbon, aftertouch, mod wheel) to give you additional sonic possibilities within the patch itself - so be sure to experiment with all of these controllers!

These 50 Arturia Polybrute custom patches and sounds will import as a user bank via Polybrute Connect software, where you can transfer them to your Polybrute. Introducing auras:polyscape, the first in a new series of free instrument releases exploring the deep and cinematic sounds of the Polybrute 12 sourced from my custom patches and recorded through analog tube preamps to capture the glorious and imperfect nature of analog synthesis all wrapped up for the free Decent Sampler platform.

Arturia PolyBrute 12: Nova Pluck - A Pro Synth Network Short

"In this first of a series of short demos of synths, we take a look at the Arturia PolyBrute 12. Using a tune that will be familiar to most, this performance uses a single patch called Nova Pluck. Everything you hear is this one patch.

I start off by using the A side of the patch, then morph towards the B side which brings in the rhythmic timbre and opens up the filters a bit more.

This particular patch uses the PolyBrute 12's Alt Aftertouch more, specifically the FullTouch Env setting. This allows me to control the envelope across the whole travel of the key and when I press into the aftertouch zone, things get raucous!

A huge thanks to Arturia and in particular Kuba Sojka who designed this patch."
