Korg Volca Beats: splitting the outputs: one side fx one side dry!!
Published on Jan 6, 2014 Maria Calfa-DePaul·33 videos
"Just a really quick hand held video of trying out something that 'volca rock' on Youtube did with his more advanced set up.
It works!! I used a cable that had a stereo 1/8 input and two 1/4 inch mono outputs (left right) I put one side into the mono mixer using the 1/4 inch and one side I put into an 1/8 inch adapter into the KP3 which only has 1/8 inch inputs!! It's very cool!"

Oberheim TEO-5 “Can’t Sleep” Jam/One Preset/ One Take AMAZING SOUND
video upload by Maria Calfa-DePaul
"Temporarily, the Oberheim is living in my son‘s old bedroom and it’s not really a studio because it’s still like a bedroom, but I do have several synths in there. It’s not the most comfortable to play this one’s on a stand so I had to stand while playing I was really tired, but I really wanted to play this synth and I couldn’t sleep so I thought let me just play for about an hour and this is the very last Song I came up with while I was just continually changing presets till I found something I wanted I wasn’t really in the mood to start fiddling and creating sounds cause as I said it wasn’t really comfortable position, but I did wanna play it so I put my headphones on. I took the outs and put it into this little Momixer into (the original one I have which doesn’t get much use now but it’s still functions pretty well with the iphone ) and I put the iPhone on a Tripod and the way I went Put headphones on and played recorded it one take one patch and then I went to bed"

“Time is Now” Creating an Ambient Track Live Using Sonicware Ambient Zero & Oberheim TEO-5 Synths
video upload by Maria Calfa-DePaul
"I am a big fan of sonicware’s liven offerings and I have several and this is becoming one of my favorites because it’s just it’s got a lot of character. It’s great for using with other synths and it’s got a sequencer and I use this live in the video trying to build up an ambient track and then having the TEO be like the headliner where I can riff on it and have it all worked together. I really enjoyed myself during this. It’s a little hard sometimes multitasking but hopefully I was able to provide you with some entertainment and enjoyment."

Tenori-O composition: Ambient Rain by Maria Calfa-DePaul
Published on Jul 13, 2013 ilovemyminimo·26 videos
"This was my second composition written on the Tenori-on Orange by Yamaha. I really am enjoying this instrument and even more now that I discovered how I can use it with a battery pack!! The Tenori has a lot more under the hood then you might think. All the sounds you hear are from the internal sound engine except for a few samples that I imported into the user sample bank. I used these to add to the drums. You will hear which ones they are!. Hope you like it. Tenori-O is a real blast and I hoping to show that you can create a variety of different music with this cool instrument!"

"I just use the first patch and try to change it as I went along. I used the arp and tried to use sequencer but had some hicups
and then just free played on the different sounds that it changed to while twisting knobs and such."
12:21 Turning on the ARPEGGIATOR and playing around with it
13:00 Let the twisting of the knobs begin
"I can't believe I actually own an oberheim and I'm so excited to have it be my first true analog Polysynth
I hope to learn everything I can about this instrument and play it and make patches it as well.
I'm really happy I invested in it."
