"この曲は一年前に作って、数回ライブで演奏しましたけど、最近だけやっとちゃんと録音をして、ビデオを作りました。これは私のアニメの影響下の二番目の曲です。今回セーラーマーズのキャラクターに影響されていました。

I made this song around a year ago, and performed it live a few times, but it was only just recently that I finally got to recording it and making video* for it. It's the second one among my anime/J-pop inspired songs. This time the inspiration and the title came from Sailor Mars / Rei Hino character from Sailor Moon anime.

* Video is the collection of clips from Sailor Moon anime series that feature Sailor Mars mixed with footage of my live performance of this song at Decrunch 2049 demoparty in June 2019.

"First you hear dry drums from Programmer 24, next is dry Vermona, then both are layered. After that the reverb is added, and then arpeggiator, bass and strings are switched on.

Vermona drums are quite heavilly compressed."

"After almost 2 years of work, I've finished my DIY polysynth Very Happy Very Happy It is based on various module designs available on the net.
I consider it to be a "Poor mans Memorymoog" with a little bit of Prophet 5 thrown in Wink. It features:
- 5 voices
- 2xVCO per voice
- 3xEG per voice (hardwired to pitch, cutoff and volume)
- 3xLFO (pitch, cutoff and PWM)
- Moog ladder VCF
- Noise source
- Ring Modulator
- Patch memory (128 user patches)
- MIDI
- Mono mode with selectable note priority (High/Low) and triggering (single/multi) and with portamento
- unison with adjustable detuning
VCO A offers sawtooth, square and triangle. VCO B offers sawtooth and square waves. Having triangle wave available is essential if you want to obtain some nice fm-like sounds from RingMod.

It's built using only standard off-the-shelf components - no CEM or SSM or similar chips inside - only typical opamps, switches, transistors etc.

Case (together with keyboard) was salvaged from some crappy 70's combo organ."

"Recently I added separate line outputs to my Electone D85. I have outputs for three main channels (Left, Center, Right) and additional drums output taken before volume control, so I can remove them from main outputs and apply effects separately.

This video is a little test. I'm using those outputs to record in stereo and apply delay.

From 03:00 onwards there's delay also on drums."

Chorus sound between 06:45 and 08:40 is obtained by muting "fast" LFO with trimpot on PCB. I plan to install switch for this, since that "slow" chorus mode turns out to be extremely useful."

"EDD-5 - analogue drum synthesizer from Poland. Triggered by individual audio outputs from Vermona DRM. Playing with kick and snare sounds. Starting from something TR-like, and then morphing it into a sound that reminds me of Yamaha RX drum machines. There is a little bit of reverb used.

Cymbals are from Vermona.

@2:36 - unfortunately arpeggiator fell out of sync for a moment when switching patterns, so the bass line is off by a 8th note."

"Następca "Skrzyneczki" zaczyna nabierać ostatecznych kształtów. Od strony elektronicznej chyba 99% procent jest zrobione, oprogramowanie ~80%. Nawet Sysexy już częściowo działają, co widać na początku filmu :-) Obudowa pewnie jeszcze ulegnie drobnym poprawkom, ale ogólny styl zapewne zostanie zachowany. Oto "Syntheta 82" - ośmiogłosowy, dwubrzmieniowy syntezator analogowy Made In Poland - w stereo i w kolorze :-)

Krótkie podsumowanie:
- Polifonia 8 głosów
- Bitimbral (Split/Layer)
- W każdym głosie 2xVCO, 3xADSR, 3xLFO, RingMod, FM, VCF 12dB/okt o przełączanej charakterystyce
- wyjście stereo z regulowaną szerokością bazy
- 3 tryby panoramowania: - alt (domyślny) - parzyste głosy na lewo, nieparzyste na prawo - key - pozycja w panoramie określona przez wysokość dźwięku - indywidualny - jedna warstwa jest panoramowana na lewo, a druga na prawo

*Część presetów z tego dema można było usłyszeć w poprzednim filmie, jeszcze bez obudowy.
