"Compilation of Elektron Analog Four jams over the past few months. I’d call it psychedelic ambient, but maybe you’d call it something different?

I went from the MKI to the MKII in that timeframe. So while this may not be a direct comparison, it could still be useful to someone deciding between the two (news flash! they sound very similar)

Each song was recorded in one take with no overdubs, no Overbridge, and no external effects. Just pure A4!"

GS Music e7 - Experiments w/ Multimbrality ft. Source Audio Collider & Digitone

"I haven’t seen many videos showcasing the multitimbral capabilities of the GS e7, so I figured I’d make one.

Jams 1 & 3 feature sounds only from the e7 (through the Collider). Digitone is only used for sequencing. Jam 2 features Digitone drums & percussion, and the rhythmic bass part. Main bass line is the e7, along with all pad & lead sounds. The Collider is only affecting the e7

All 3 jams feature slightly modified versions of a multitimbral patch I made, so there are some similarities. Variations on a theme if you will

"1st time making a live set and recording it all in one go.

Influenced by 90s artist like Underworld, Chemical Brothers, and Drexciya. As well as rock/electronic adjacent artists like Primal Scream. Also, tried to incorporate some krautrock elements from bands like Neu! And Can. You will also probably hear some Boards of Canada influence, but that’s pretty much a given

Most sounds are from the Elektron Syntakt which is running through the Roland SP-404 (OG version). Also used the 404 for some interludes and spoken word elements. The compact flash card was corrupted so I had to get creative with the very limited onboard storage. GFI Systems Skylar pedal was used for reverb."

This jam was mainly just to make sure it worked. Came used from Guitar Center which is always a little iffy (like when they sent an SP404 with the wrong power supply)"

"My first submission for #jamuary2024 Polyend Play Plus is providing all drums and sequencing the Korg Volca and Dreadbox Erebus. Also playing a few melodic samples and minimal use of the Play’s internal synths, which you can hear mostly at the beginning and end of the video.

Meris Mercury7 is in the the send of my mixer for some dub swells. Volca Keys is running through an Electro Harmonix Memory Man Deluxe and a Boss DC-2w chorus"
