Black Eyed Peas Minimoog Voyager at Night
This one via Lee. Wow."Did a gig as stage tech for the Black Eyed Peas last weekend, got a few pics of their keyboard rig including
cool shots of their Mini-Moog Voyager, daytime and at night just before their performance.
Also, there's a pic of their Pro-Tools rack that has a Paul J.Cox custom "Live Sequencer Changeover Unit"...for backing tracks failsafe!"
Very cool. Thanks Lee. Title link takes you to the other shots. BTW, that's my new wallpaper.
Blue Cat Audio Digital Peek Meter Pro
Digital Peek Meter Pro lets you take the audio input of whatever you feed it and apply it's audio envelope to MIDI CC. "you can now send MIDI CC messages following the envelopes and transformed envelope. The Tutorials section will let you discover these unique features: manage any parameter of any plug-in or external MIDI hardware with the envelopes of the audio signal!"

MacBeth Studio Systems Update
Remember this post on the new Moroco Synth? Looks like it has been officially announced on the website along with the M3X2:"Hi All! It's been some while since I updated the website- I've basically been building up M5s and also working on two new prototypes! These being the long awaited M3X2 and a new varient of the moroco stereo filterbank- it's now the moroco stereo synthesizer! Within the next few days, I shall provide you with protoype pictures to let you all see what is happening..."

Destroyer by Trogotronic
Title link takes you to a post on Sendling, on the Destroyer by Trogotronic. I wasn't going to put this up as I already posted on Trogotronic, but when I saw this something immediately came to mind. Thomas Dolby and his custom MIDI controllers: one, two. The difference is these actually produce sound. Note this is not a slight on Thomas Dolby. I think it's pretty cool that he turns old devices into unique MIDI controllers. Hmm... with all the buzz around circuit bending and DIY, you'd actually think there was more modding of old non-synth equipment out there. P.S. Don't miss the sample of the Destroyer on Sendling. No offense, but that is one of the most annoying sounds I have ever heard. Wow. : )
