YouTube via Synthomania. via fischek.
"Just messing aroud with my,back then new ms2000, oberheim dx + ofcoarse my first synth ,the roland d-50. First time i used midi ever i think. (connected the dx to the arp of the korg to create the bassline) Noting special here, just posting it for fun:)"

Tense Tents - The Feast

YouTube via ZonkOut. Chad Yasmine
I asked ZonkOut what was making the drone and what synth that was. He replied:
"There is only guitar (through an old EHX Muff Fuzz) in the Feast video, the rest is Sequential Pro-One. Everything is pretty much live. I used a loop pedal (Akai Headrush) to make the rhythms and repeating lines on the Pro-One and then played on top while shooting the video. I have been doing the looped Pro-One rhythms for Low Red Center lately, but there aren't any videos of that up yet. Thanks for asking and keep up the great work on your blog."

Udpate via ZonkOut in the comments:
"Clarification (in case anyone was confused):
I didn't mean that there was nothing but guitar in the vid--just that between the two Tense Tents videos, the only one w/ guitar is the Feast video. In the Feast, the drums are looped Pro-One and there is some Pro-One drone at the beginning and end.
The other video (using only Pro-One):

Andre Vezina - Alpha 50

"I just made a demonstration piece of the Roland Alpha Juno 1 and the MKS-50 (wich is the same engine). All sounds come from these machines. Only effects: Delay, auto-pan and reverb. I used a sampler without transforming the original sounds. I think the Alpha Juno is one of the most underrated analog synths on the market now and it sounds really good."

Beatburner Free

"Windows is getting enough instrument and effect madness for free to make your head spin — a lot of it previously commercial software. Here’s the latest addition: Beatburner, a looping sampler combined with a wave shaper and enveloped filter. In short, Beatburner takes your loops and makes them into sonic insanity. I’ve been playing with it a bit this evening, and making things sound … well, scary."
