Another Odd PlanB Modular Synth Patch

YouTube via dkimcg
"Don't ask what I did, I don't remember exactly, but there was FM involved, ring modulation and wave shaping, the M25 Voltage processor being used as an audio mixer, Delay feedback from and through the Moogerfooger 104z, and VC of the M10 which was self cycling and being triggered by the Model 28. I was trying to get something that reminded me of a Serge type sound. I don't think I was quite successful, I need more modules to get closer.

I also recorded a second track of audio through the Roland Space Echo, but this track is dry, nothing added in the computer, not even compression, just analog compression through the Urei LA-22 during recording."

arduino sequencer

YouTube via 909techno
"arduino - creating new sequence, repeat 8 times, create another new sequence. sends note, accent, slide to mam mb33mkii and kick, open hi hat and closed hi hat to tr909. will add buttons and knobs to adjust the chances of sequence attributes (more slides, more octive jumps, etc.). you can also consider this video a decent demo of the mam mb33 mkii - all the synth sounds are from it. distortion is built-in. added a bit of reverb and compression that is all."

VINTAGE ANALOG MTI AutoOrchestra AO-1

"This truly vintage and early synthesizer MTI Auto-Orchestra is a sophisticated electronic musical instrument made in the 1970's. It contains a drum machine, an accompaniment generator and a separate bass sound. It was designed to be an electronic instrument for the instrumental soloist with three-note chord accompaniment synthesizer and an advanced rhythm machine.

The chords, with a choice of similar sounds of a piano, an organ or strings, can be set (by outside switches) to be major, minor, dominant seven or diminished chord. The device also offers automated walking bass."

Mochika2

"This synth features one analog square and saw waveform VCO (voltage controled oscillator) with a huge pitch range, from subsonic to ultrasonic sound.

One square and triangle waveform LFO (low frequency oscillator), that modulates the VCO for the vibrato effect creating old school arcade Atari-like sounds.

White noise generator that triggers the VCO and can create percussion like sounds.

8 step Sequencer with note on/off switch and pitch knob for each step

It features a 1/4 inch audio output, 1/4 inch CV Output (to control other analog gear).

The Mochika2 features a MIDI input to sync the Mochika with any midi device sending midi clock signals, the mochika can sync 1, 2, 4 and up to 8 times the tempo of the master clock midi device, also it can be used as a midi to gate converter to sync other analog gear using the CV output of the Mochika2.

Also the instrument is ligthed with 1 ultra bright red led that indicates the LFO Rate, and 8 red leds to indicate the step that is being played. Very useful when you play it on a dark stage. The Analog Sequencer is packed in a cool laser cut clear acrilic case that shows all the hand made analog circuitry. The instrument is powered directly from 110V or 220V AC. Dimensions: 230mm(W), 170 mm(D), 80mm(H. incuded rubber feet and knobs) Sound Samples , Video and extra large Pictures: Visit my blog: www.atomolabs.blogspot.com"

Extreme sea weather

YouTube via GCom67. I thought this was a pretty cool video so I dropped GCom67 a line asking him what synths he used. I saw the Alesis Andromeda A6 in the tags for the video. The following is what he had to say, "I used the Andy for pads/bass/piano stabs thoughout and some seq/FX (wind etc) parts which are just in the mix, really for thickening the track out. The bongos are from my Big Fish 'The Art of Jo' sample library. The snare and hihats i sampled from an old band sound check i recorded on minidisc years ago. Shaker i did my self with a half full pepper mill and Rode NT2 mic. I love to use Waves SSL vst plugs and RSO Extreme Warmth on the final mix."
