Tim Stinchcombe - Diode Ladder Filters
"The success of the Moog transistor ladder filter quickly gave rise to a number of 'look-alikes', which employed diodes in the ladder in order to circumvent the Moog patent. Two of the better-known examples are the Roland TB-303 filter [pictured], and the EMS filter, as used in the VCS3 (and probably other models) - this is the 4-pole '18dB' one; later filters had 5 poles, and were labelled '24dB'"via Tim Stinchcombe's website where you will find more info.

Kaossilator step by step
Kaossilator step by step from Toumal Rakesh on Vimeo.
"Fooling around with the Korg Kaossilator. Note that I had to use the hidden 16-bar mode (activated by holding the BPM and Loop buttons on powerup), that's why I had to turn it off and on in the middle. I wasn't sure how things would turn out, hence I used the KP3 to sample several parts to be able to turn them on and off lateron.
All in all, the Kaossilator is a useful and fun device. Here's hoping that a possible successor adds save/load functionality, more sounds and a pattern sequencer ;)"

SYB-5 solo

"The BOSS SYB-5 bass synth trigged by its own feedback, by Kulten the SYB synth addict !
I use the 2 "LFO modes" with "Square" sound (mode 6) and "Saw" sound (mode 3). Works good with the SYB-5 and not with the SYB-3 : the SYB-3 don't have LFO.
I often do that in concert. Actually, I already did a gig only with my SYB-5 (ambiant/indus), and another only with the SYB-3 and my DR-110 drum machine (electro/indus). But most of the time I play with both SYB on stage."
Making loops with single AudioCube
YouTube via Percussa
"Chris from UCSD emails us with a patch in Max/MSP and accompanying video in which he uses a single audiocube to create loops.
the audiocube's 4 sensors control 4 parameters of a VST instrument, which are recorded into a looping sequencer and played over the original recording, allowing the performer to create a loop quickly and shape the sound and musical patterns using has hands and fingers, like a piece of clay.
the parameters are recorded in high resolution and speed for smooth continuous control.
