Synth DIY UK weekend - July 17/19
"Another year, another Synth DIY UK event. 2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the UK synthtastic gathering.
The location, as last year, is Robinson College -
http://www.robinson.cam.ac.uk/contact/directions.php
In an effort to streamline the process I've tweaked the online booking form, which you can find here:
http://www.njohnson.co.uk/SDIY/roombooking.html
Room rates are £32 for a single, £53 for a double, continental-style breakfast included. All rooms are en-suite. Prepayment is required, either Sterling cheque or via Paypal.
Info and photos from previous years can be found on Paul Maddox's site:
http://www.diy.synth.net/uk
I'll announce a closing date nearer the time. Suffice it to say there's some time to go before you need to make your mind up.
Further details will be announced in due course.
Cheers,
Neil

Wersi Galaxy Organ - Opened Up
via Kenneth Elhard:"Since I took some photos of my Wersi Organ opened up, I figured I'd post
them for those interested in seeing how the organ opens up like a book,
where all sections are hinged and can be swung up for easy access to all of
the internals.

"SH-101/JUNO-60/JUNO-106/SP-808 triggered via midi using Sonar software.
V-Drums played live."
Miniwave Melody
YouTube via boobtube356
"Blacet Miniwave audio output goes to Make Noise QMMG. The QMMG is modulated by Cwejman ADSR-VC2. The Miniwave bank and wave are being controlled by a pair of LFO S&H signals. The Miniwave input is a simple rising saw waveform from a Cwejman VCO-2RM. The VCO-2RM is fed a simple three note sequence using the Doepfer A-152. All adjustments are on-screen except for some fiddling with the QMMG resonance which is easily discerned."
