"Test drive of the Doepfer Dark Energy (right channel), MIDI sequenced by a Future Retro Revolution (left channel). Ambient dronespace and mixdown provided by Blacet/Metalbox/Wiard/Cynthia modular synthesizer system. The Dark Energy uses the Popcorn parameter setup described in the Doepfer manual (page 38): VCO and LFOs off, with the VCF set to self-resonate with a simple A/D envelope. Available light video shot with a Sanyo Xacti HD1010, down-sampled to 720p and edited with Final Cut. Backtrack Sequencing and recording, and video shot were made in two hours (I note this always there is lacking of production, I did it in a quick way)

Gear:

Emu EMAX II HD: piano-guitar and lead sounds (I did sample them from a Roland D10).
Roland JP8000: Arpeggio bass (time synched via midi from Pro Tools).

Backtrack recorded in Pro Tools and Reason. Bassdrum and snare coming from a Roland D10.
