Klone multi - very rare drum synth

via this auction

Not the best shots, but definitely not common. Only one other post here.

"Honky Tonk Multi Klone Analog drum brain with trigger inputs. 5 channels, each with noise, filter sweep, tuning etc. Rare and curious drum synthesiser. Each channel has it's own input and output for connecting to drum pads and a mixing desk, there is also a headphone / main output socket to monitor the complete mix. Each channel has it's own sensitive on board trigger so the Klone multi can be used as a stand alone unit (Not just connected to drum pads). There is a master noise quality control altering the bit rate of the entire output, for added crunch."

Roland Prelude Keyboard mp3 - Video

No, that isn't Christopher Cross in the video. This is him:

Christopher Cross - "Ride Like The Wind" [2008]

YouTube via UniversalRecPH
"Recorded from Christopher Cross' TV performance in De Laatse show. This updated lite jazz, acoustic version can be found in his brand new album The Cafe Carlyle Sessions.

The Café Carlyle Sessions features Christopher Cross' biggest hits in jazzy and soft acoustic arrangements. Includes Never Be The Same, Swept Away, Arthur's Theme, Ride Like The Wind, Sailing, Think Of Laura & more.

Album released and distributed in the Philippines by Universal Records.

Video uploaded with permission from Edel Entertainment."

Alterex - Free VSTs

"Alterex is a non-profit organisation located in Bleiswijk, The Netherlands. In 1994 Alterex was esablished as music project (ALTERnative EXperimental music).
In 2008 Alterex reestablished as "Alterex VST" developing basic virtual synthesizers for windows, using Synthedit. In december 2008 www.alterex.nl got registrated and in February 2009 the first synthesizer got released, the ViCON."

Pictured:
"The X*ONE is a virtual monophonic synthesizer by AltereX, with one oscillator, one modulator, and one 12dB lowpass filter. Although the design is similar to the ViCON the sound of this module is phatter. This basic unit has some tricks up it's sleeve and is one of the core parts of the X*PAND VSTi - that will be released next year."

ViSYNTH
"This synth is inspired by Synth Lite produced by MFB. Alterex tried to catch the functionality and feeling of the original german unit but is not intended as software clone. It's hard to deny that we have a weakness for small units. Just give it a try!"

ViNOM
"The core of the ViNOM synthesizer is based on the oscillator design of the KORG EA-1 analogue modelling synthesizer. Alterex added a modulation generator (MG) and a envelope generator (EG).The modulation generator is a low frequency oscillator with triangle, square, ramp up and down, sample & hold modulation shapes. The modulation sources can be routed to both oscillators, aswell as individually."

ViCON
"The ViCON synthesizer is a small unit inspired by Technosaurus Microcon. The ViCON is not intended as a software clone of the original synthesizer produced by Technosaurus.
The synthesizer is ideal for basslines. The filter and the oscillator pitch can be modulated by the low frequency oscillator and envelope generator. The ViCON offers 1 oscillator, a sub oscillator (square) and a 12/24 dB lowpass filter and settings for glide and velocity sensitivity."

ViCON [Modified]
"Next to this basic ViCON unit Alterex designed a modified version that brings aditional features such as pulse-width modulation, frequency modulation, overdrive and distortion. Next to that the modified ViCON offer cross-modulation. The audio signal of the square waveform from the main oscillator modulates the phase of the saw oscillator and visa versa (cross). The cross-modulation can be set manually but can also be controlled by the low frequency oscillator (xlfo)."

Doepfer Dark Energy - The first try out

YouTube via repeatle
"Just trying out some of the features on the tiny but very nice analog synthesizer Dark Energy.
This is all very non musical but perhaps interesting in some way. You get to hear the superfast LFO's in action and some filter tweaking as well. The Doepfer was sequenced from an Analogue Solutions Oberkorn III."

Blipvert #18 : Getting into Semi-Modulars - Doepfer Dark Energy

YouTube via krankhaus. Doepfer Dark Energy on Ebay http://www.doepfer.de/home.htm
"Destroyx looks at Semi-Modular Synths. Semi-Modulars are are great way to bridge from analogue synths to modular synths.
