Make Noise: ¡Access Denied!

flickr by Analogue Haven
http://analoguehaven.com/
"Here's a sneak peak of a forthcoming Make Noise module, a touch sequencer tentatively called ¡Access Denied!. The sequencer aligns its step data in a matrix on the left side of the module and offers further user input on the right side via tactile pads. Obviously they will not be so large in the final version of the module, the user interface will shrink down to make everything more compact. ¡Access Denied! is a work in progress and the features are still being decided. There will be a few other Make Noise modules released before this one. LINK: twitter.com/makenoisemusic." http://makenoisemusic.com/

JH Polymoog Resonator + voltage control and Voice of Saturn

JH Polymoog Resonator + voltage control and Voice of Saturn from Travis Thatcher on Vimeo.

"Quick demo of the JH Polymoog Resonator module. I added voltage control using 6 vactrols, 2 for each frequency band in paralel with the dual pots that control the frequency offset.

Still need to work out a better way to get direct sound."

GorF Version 1.00 Hardware DIY Sequencer

via Vacoloco Ramblings where you will find more details.

"Well, it’s finally here.
I’ve managed to get some time this week and put in the last few touches. We now have support for 64 sequences, 8 banks, each with 8 sequences. You’ll need to have the I2C EEPROM to get banks 2 - 8 to work, and they’re a little bit slower when loading and saving, so you’ll get a bit of a hiccup using these, sorry nothing I can about that."

Hooked On Bach

Update via 3P in the comments: "I remember this photo from a '70s vintage 3M (Scotch) tape magazine ad. IIRC, the lead copy said "If Bach were alive today, he's be recording on Scotch tape." Then they went on hawking consumer 1/4" and cassette tape. Maybe that's why 3M's audio division went belly up.
What balls!"

Circuit Bent Ensoniq ASR-X Sampler - Video

Squidfanny - Circuit bent sampler - ACTUAL DEMO........

"As requested, an ACTUAL DEMO vid to show some of the GLITCH Mods on this mega-sampler.

10 minute's isn't enough time to even scratch the surface of what this machine can do, but it gives a rough idea of how the GLITCH modifications sound.

I have a couple of other vids for this machine, check them out if you like.......

Sorry for poor vid and audio quality, I used a shitty bit of software called 'camtasia' which has totally crushed my vid files......

Rate the vid, leave a comment, Subscribe if you like, put the kettle on and I'll skin up.....................

PEACE"

"Quick non-scientific comparison of two voltage controlled modular synthesizer filters that have the same basic circuit design. Do they sound the same or different to you?
Comments and suggestions welcomed!"
