Rendezvous - Studio Session 11 (Keyboard)

YouTube via OfficialRendezvous. follow-up to this post. via twitter.com/rendezvousmusic
"Hagai is playing on his Korg MS-10 and recording melody licks on The Murf, a disco style track from Rendezvous' upcoming instrumental electro-pop debut album.

Rendezvous themselves are a two piece band consisting of Itai Simon and Hagai Izenberg. their work can be easily cataloged as instrumental and experimental, bringing together both retro sounds and ideas to this electronic contemporary world.

Highly appreciated mixer and producer Dave Bascombe (Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears) is now mixing Rendezvous' debut album in London."

Holiday Synth.mov

"A synthesizer for the holidays! This unit was made as a gift for a friend; I will be building a few similar, but not identical, units over the next few weeks and will be putting them up for sale (somewhere...).

The audio from the synth was run into a mixer and then recorded with no effects or additional processing.

All sounds besides those from the synth were dubbed for fun!

Everybody loves synths and cookies! Happy Holidays!"

Electro Harmonix Iron Lung Vocoder

"Built around the finest aspects of our praised V256 vocoder, the Iron Lung is the baby brother housed in our smallest, die-cast chassis . The Iron Lung uses the highest resolution of 256 bands to deliver defined vocoder performance while our famous Gender Bender control lets you adjust a male to female emphasis that delivers numerous and exacting possibilities at the turn of a knob. An XLR input allows your microphone of choice to be used with 3 independent gain controls. To round it out, the tone control integrates with the Gender Bender to refine the tone to exactly where you want it to be. Use a guitar or keyboard for polyphonic delivery. One of the very classic instruments from the past made available to every musician at a classic price!"

BugBrand CLK2A - Divisions

via the BugBrand Blog where you'll find more details and images.

"Introducing the new range of CLK clocking modules - the first design is a compact divider offering integer divisions from 2 to 9.
The CLK2A has an input for Clock and another for Reset - each has a 3-way switch to allow selection of External Socket / Off / or Internal Bus, plus a momentary button.

The Bus sections will come into effect once other CLK modules are completed and will provide internal 'Master' Clock and Reset connections (eg from VC-Clock Module).

The outputs change as shown in the Timing Diagram with the pulse length being equal to one full clock signal. A reset signal will instantly set all outputs to Hi and counting continues on the next Clock signal."

Audible Disease Synth Bomb SB-1

via this Analogue Haven auction

"the audible disease synth bomb sb-1 is a simple yet fun to use hand-held monophonic synthesizer that produces an almost boundless array of sounds! just plug it in and you're ready to start making some severe noise. the sb-1 incorporates four square-wave oscillators running in parallel. the frequency of each oscillator can be controlled by how much light is hitting each of the four photo-eyes... the more light that hits the photo-eye the higher the frequency of that oscillator. cover the photo-eyes with your fingers for a virtually endless palate of sound! oh, did we mention that this thing is loud? well, it is!

operates with a 9-volt battery only. plug a 1/4 inch cable into the jack to turn on the unit."
