"This is one of two of these customs we built for show at an Experimental Music Fest.. This is a light activated synthesizer with 8 oscillators ( two banks of four) it has push bottom momentary switches that turn the individual banks ON when pushed for maximum control of sounds also two separate outputs .. Audible Disease Synth Bomb SB-1
via this Analogue Haven auction
"the audible disease synth bomb sb-1 is a simple yet fun to use hand-held monophonic synthesizer that produces an almost boundless array of sounds! just plug it in and you're ready to start making some severe noise. the sb-1 incorporates four square-wave oscillators running in parallel. the frequency of each oscillator can be controlled by how much light is hitting each of the four photo-eyes... the more light that hits the photo-eye the higher the frequency of that oscillator. cover the photo-eyes with your fingers for a virtually endless palate of sound! oh, did we mention that this thing is loud? well, it is!
operates with a 9-volt battery only. plug a 1/4 inch cable into the jack to turn on the unit."

Audible Disease Dementia DM-1 Noise Synth
via this Analogue Haven auction
"The dementia dm-1 from audible disease is a super mega noise synth designed to inject a new chaotic sound palate into your setup. this thing is just non-stop noise! it starts with a glitchy two-oscillator synth signal. the gain of the synth signal can be adjusted then further processed through another adjustable oscillation filter. after that, a set amount of white noise can be introduced into the signal. just to add to the fun, another control allows you to starve a bit of power to some of the circuit creating sputtering, coughing dying sounds. operates with a standard 9-volt dc negative tip barrel type power adapter only (sold separately)."

Audible disease sampler vs the MOTM-420 filter
YouTube via RothHandle
"Today I have been working on the fth mix for the upcoming Antkowiak album...a track called Turn Around. For the seesond verse I wanted to overdub a very thin sounding ostinato pattern on the guitar...
So I recorded the guitar into the Audible Disease recorder and then filtered it through the MOTM-420 filter...
This film was recorded at the Roth Händle studios in Stockholm. If you are3 curious about the studio please stroll by www.roth-handle.nu for more info, booking etc...
Best regards,
Mattias"
