NAMM: Nifty NAMM Search via experimentalist anonymous

via Colin of http://experimentalistsanonymous.com:

"Hey Matrix, your readers might be interested to know that I wrote a little php script that basically just searches the exhibitor list.

http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/other/namm2010.php

The idea being that I am at NAMM with my iPhone (and no NAMM app) and I need to figure out where analog haven is:

http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/other/namm2010.php?company=haven&sort=company

or I want to find the guitar companies in each hall:

http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/other/namm2010.php?company=guitar&sort=hall

-Colin"

I added this to the NAMM Synth Booth post in case you book marked it for NAMM. Look for the red updated above the images for the links.

E350 Tenori-on QMMG

YouTube via UncertainMusicCorps. via Umcorps in the comments of this post.
"E350 Morphing Terrarium Z output modulated by CV from Tenori-On. Note change every 4 bars from a random quantised voltage(A 149-1). Second voice is the XY output from the E350.
Master clock and drum loop from Logic.
Obviously a quick 'n dirty demo recording so the levels are a bit out when the QMMG starts to shout a bit."
See this post on the MOTM 350 Morphing Terrarium for more info and samples as well.

LeafLabs Maple

full details at LeafLabs

Some snips for the archives (be sure to see the link below):
"Maple can be programmed using an Arduino-style, sketch-based programming environment, which is open-source and can be downloaded online at our website. The Cortex-M3 on Maple comes pre-programmed with a boot-loader – allowing users to upload new code onto it using the USB interface (supported directly by the Cortex-M3), without the need for an external hardware programmer. You can also program the microcontroller directly with an external JTAG interface."

"The Leaf Maple is a microcontroller board based on the STM32F103RB microprocessor. The Maple runs at a maximum of 72 MHz, has 39 digital input/output pins, 16 analog inputs, native full speed USB, 3 USARTs (hardware serial ports), integrated SPI/I2C support, a power jack, and a reset button. Maple is programmable over USB via our provided DFU bootloader, no extra hardware required! Users can also program the onboard program flash via external JTAG interface."
