synth.nl has a post showing graphs of what the Oakley Discontinuity Module can do to audio input.
"The controls I used in the examples below are: Treshold, Fold, Discontinuity and Offset. I only use the normal output (so not the Clamp or Clip) and I put a Triangle wave from the PC function generator on the input."
YouTube via SeratoHQ "Huston from Ableton and Nick from Serato go through The Bridge - a new technology allowing communication between Ableton Live 8 and Serato Scratch Live (and ITCH). For more info, go here: http://sera.to/brd"
YouTube via SweetwaterSound "More info: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detai... Roland brought the versatile and powerful Octapad to this year's Winter NAMM. Loaded with over 600 instruments arranged in 50 kits (plus effects), the Octapad features eight large touch-sensitive pads, an easy-to-use interface, a hi-hat controller, a Phrase Loop function, and USB connectivity. Trigger inputs allow you to use it with acoustic drums, or you can stand mount the Octapad and use it to augment your kit in the studio or onstage."

YouTube via buchla300 "Just showing how cool the Roland R8 sequencer is. Many just use it as a straight ahead drum machine, but t's when you start doing realtime pitch/decay/pan/nuance/velocity editing that it becomes cool. Pitching and changing the pan and decay of the individual sounds after they have been recorded. I used this zillions of times with Andrea Parker for her stuff and remixes we did and for my own stuff. I know the guys from Autechre and many other artists used one . Great box. The R8 MKII has more built in sounds and more memory. Worth finding over the MKI version."
