Eardrill Periodicity and ModuleModule Buchla

"Periodicity
The Buchla 281(e) quad function generators are the unsung heroes of the Buchla Electric Music Box. They perform all sorts of transient and cyclic duties. They are among my most-touched modules. That said, I still feel the need for some dedicated LFOs."

"ModuleModule
Buchla cabinets represent some expensive module real estate. There have been a bunch of little utility functions that I have wanted from time to time in my Buchla system, but gathering just the right combination of functions into a universally loved utility module seemed virtually impossible.
My solution? The ModuleModule

The ModuleModule is a normal Buchla-format module that implements a frame that can hold up to four "standard" mini-modules; "ModuleModule modules", if you will."

You can find more details on each via each link above. via Chris Muir of Eardrill on the SDIY list.

Inside Alesis A6 Andromeda

via Ibsendesign where you'll find more pics.

"Here are some pics I’ve shot during the reconnaissance inside my A6 (taking some measures before pimping it with some custom made wooden cheeks). It’s quite surprising that it’s guts are not that complicated as it may seem looking at it’s interface. Very clean layout and good engineering (with tons of silicone glue, WTF?)."

"Demo of the Prototype Midi VCO I had on my big Modular. I dismantled the beast and sold off the pieces. This one had a Fat detuneable saw."

Line 6 FM4 Filter Modulator Demonstration Finale

YouTube via gearwire
"If you made the embarrassing mistake of buying a guitar when you really wanted a synthesizer, don't admit to your mistake. Buy a Line 6 FM4! Furthermore, it comes in handy if you're a guitarist just looking to add some effects from another realm completely."
