Flower Electronics T_NG

via StromKult

"Their latest product is now coming to europe very soon, the T_NG is a touch sensitive noise generator. When you touch the pads on the pcb, you create feedback loops around the circuit. You can make the t_ng hiss, squeak, chirp, groan, and squeal."

Lets get lofi 5 - Casio Mt-68 slightly modified

YouTube via ChrisLody — April 11, 2010 —

"I love this little casio. It was one of the very first keyboards i picked up second hand after i started to learn piano. I've owned about 5 of them in total (one of them was actually an mt-65 but there are a lot round here it would seem)but have only kept the best 2. A lot of the melodic tracks i've written in that time have started from noodling around on this keyboard in tea breaks and on the sofa. I has just enough sound sculpting to be considered a mini home synth or something. It has a couple of enevlope switches, sustain, reverb, vibrato and delayed vibrato which all alter the 20 stock sounds. The drum sounds are pretty nice too.

This one i have modded slightly using mods meant for the mt-400v and ct-410v which shares the same voice chip, though the mt-68 has no active filter. I added a sustain pedal input by connecting a jack and protection diode across pins 44 and 57 which makes it more easily playable. I also chopped the connections to some static filter capacitors which dull some of the sounds. Once disconnected this makes it sound much brighter and much more pleasant to my ear.

I found all the info i needed here: http://weltenschule.de/TableHooters/C...
I remember seeing a full size white version of the mt-68 / mt-65 but didn't buy it and regret it now. I think that had a sustain pedal input as standard. If anyone happens to know the name of the fullsize version i'd like to know. Cheers."
