"This synth is great for the sound designer and audiophile, be it used for sound fx or electronic music production. With it's large array of facilities (Two VCFs, two ASDRs, two VCOs, FAST LFO) nearly any kind of sound can be created, be it traditional epic basslines or fantastic screaming leads."
via miniSoftMusik where you'll find the download: "Extractor is a additive synthesizer with 4 oscillators per 1-128 patrials. The waveforms can be extracted from every wavefile , if the wavefile is small(min 512 samples) the result is more like the original. It´s possible to save the result as a txt-file and to load it. This synthi has 4 oscillators that can be uses simultaneous and Extractor features a morph function that remembers a wave table or phase distortion. Other functions are a multimode filter ,flexibly tone distortion , a step sequenzer for note , attack and decay envelope. As effect there is a hq chorus. Orgel and digital piano presets are not included but this presets can be easy made with Extractor. If you are interested in this synthi more will come. The 21 on board presets shows the possibility , flexibility and a easy handling. For any suggestions , improvements , bugs or other ideas write us a email.Presets that was made with Extractor can be included too , for this just write us a email too. "We're getting Eurorack versions of the Noise Swash and Atoner modules from 4ms Pedals very soon. Here is the Noise Swash artwork that 4ms sent over to us. It looks great! We'll update our website ( www.analoguehaven.com/4mspedals/noiseswash/ ) when they come in.
4ms Pedals also have some new modules coming out soon. LINK: www.4mspedals.com/."
"Introduced in late 1997, the Modular is something really innovative from the point of view of programming facilities and sound research. The basic idea comes from the original analog modular synthesizer, a technological masterpiece that during 70's inspired the most important artists, from Wendy Carlos to Keith Emerson. Despite his incredible power in sound programming, the analog modular synthesizer's success was limited by four important problems: programming time, high cost, large size and overweight. Clavia surpassed these limits proposing a new idea: a little sized unit that, for a reasonable cost, offers the same programming power thanks to a virtual patching enviroment supported by an external computer (Mac/Win platform).
