"I made some quick and dirty audio demos on the weekend - under suboptimal conditions, with allogator clips and field recorder, but I think it shows some of how this will sound:
YouTube via retrosound72 — April 24, 2010 — "vintage synthesizer demo by RetroSound
The new Moog Taurus 3 vs. Taurus 1 from the year 1978
The demo shows the 3 legendary Taurus 1 preset sounds TAURUS, TUBA, BASS and a Variable Preset sound RESO-BASS in comparsion to the Taurus 3 .
No external effects added!
This video demo is not a musical statement, only demonstration of the sound possibilities of the instrument."

Doefper A-100, slow evolving patch. Three part patch : a didgeridoo-like bass, a detuned bass, and a sawtooth-wave melody. I used a delay and a reverb."

YouTube via humanmaestro — April 25, 2010 — "This is my first playing on "KORG monotron". "monotron" is often used as 'Filter' using the audio input jack. But "monotron" can take a song by the ribbon controller.

Here is a quick little jam with one of my demo tunes using chipPad 1.1 beta 1. Hopefully in a few days this update will be submitted to the app store. Please excuse my lack of rhythm in the middle :-)
Changes in this version include:
- Tracks no longer mute (until the next quantize point) when re-triggered, now they keep on playing and it sounds much more musical - There are per-track mute and solo buttons on the Mix page (that are saved with the session so you can start tracks out muted or soloed) - Track numbers, mute group numbers, mute/solo status and track audio file name are now optionally displayed on the playing surface - Microfades are applied to audio to avoid clicks when musically appropriate. The more you play towards the top of a cell, the more the microfade will occur. Play towards the bottom of a cell to apply less microfade. You can hear this about half-way through the video where I have the bottom-most (from my perspective) track playing and I'm moving my finger up and down the cells. - Whenever you quit the app your current configuration will be saved so you won't lose your work by accident. - Various other optimizations and tweaks.
Please send your comments and suggestions and follow us on Twitter @earsmack for updates. Thanks for all the great support!"
